Why? I win nothing I want but I risk ending up dead. The dead part I hate a lot and for the “no reward” I really don’t see why would I risk it. My fun comes from trying to take down the pred, the moment he is dead, don’t care. If the pred leaves the game, I also leave.
Nope, stick around long enough to kill it, then run for the edge. I live = win.

I’m very bad at defusing. I’ve only done it twice and I’ve been playing since trial. I just can’t get it to work and both defusing had been pre-patch. I’ll gun it down so someone can do it but it’s not like I’m going to to try as much knowing I’m shit at it.
The game system will only count the win for predator once his bomb destruct successfully
And successfully defuse will earn you extra XP
The bonus XP isn’t worth it though, especially when everyone is at level 150. Unless it’s an actual Daily/Weekly Challenge then I’m heading outside the blast zone.
Thankfully, there’s usually some really good guys on my team like @Drakos who’ll defuse that shit quicker than you can arm it. Only time he doesn’t get it is when it glitches out and does that insane slot machine nonsense.

I defuse every time regardless. I’d say for I’m 95% success rate. Since everyone runs and sucks at defusing I get the extra predator damage and the down bonus then everyone enjoys the 1300 extra XP. Makes a big difference. There is no rush for me unless I get the kill and defuse, otherwise the game is boring to me.

I hate to toot my own horn too, but i’m good at it as well. Most probably find it too. The only factor for it to go off is timing. Some (and i mean most) people want to be hero and go into it a laugh or two in and thats just bad judgement.
–word of advice for all FT: Dont be a hero! If you’re too late, you are too late. Make it out of the zone!

Ft doesnt win… because they never completed the mission… only way to win is to kill pred defuse or escape.

When i first started ft back in april… i died 3 or 4 times for the defuse… now its like 1 out of 30 i miss

I really don’t care the game thinks I did not win. If the predator is dead in the ground then that is a fine win to me! I have no incentive to disarm.
