During every match I’ve been on today, the fireteam has completely abandoned the mission and either hid under a building or spent the whole match focusing on killing me (I think the second option is more fun for everyone). The match ended either when they were all eliminated or the time ran out. I’m not complaining, I’m just wondering if there’s been a mass decision that I didn’t hear about lol.
Forget the mission, there’s a Predator to kill!

Because there’s ~10 minutes to do nothing under the houses @ backwater or stand on the warehouse since objectives don’t have fail conditions and aren’t time-based.

I can’t stand it. I dunno maybe it’s me but I feel it’s customary to let the Pred make the first move. Just to get in the spirit of things ya know? I hate it and I hate (playing both sides) when FT doesn’t realize they lost the high ground and are really at the mercy of the pred and not actually doing good like they think they are. Like guys…ammo runs out way before stamina and energy, get with the program, back the pred off and go about the mission.

Yeah, the first few times that happened in backwater it was amusing. Now it’s just getting boring.
You forget that Daily and Weekly challenges are dedicated to FT. Until the day comes where predator runs errends, avoiding FT altogether, as a challenge will be a great day for FT.
That’s a good point, this week’s challenge is to shoot off the biomask so that could be what’s going on. It’s not surprising to me that some people would play to fight instead of getting to the chopper, but the way it was happening match after match so suddenly caught my interest.
Many missions expose the fireteam too much to ignore the predator. I’m not suggesting teams hide the entire match, but if the predator is nearby, it makes little sense to run around in the open or activate a part of the mission that calls in AI.

Yeah but don’t run to the nearest outpost and just call the pred man. At least try to start the mission.

There’s far more people who read the forum than post… for obvious reasons. Lots of people were hoping for news today.
As for the hiders, have any of you tried hopping on mic and being like…
“Ok guys, I’m going to go behind that tree and count to 100, gonna give you a head start on your mission?”
“100, 99, 98, 97, 96…”

I think because alot of players have done the missions hundreds of times and sick of them and partly because the predator players are getting so good you can’t afford to turn your focus off them

Thats because its more efficient to chase the pred for a lot of teams. I doubt most matches end the way they do for you

My team, we’re all on PS4, stick to the mission until the Predator shows up. The only time I chase the Predator is when I know they are wounded, or second winded. If I feel like I’ve lost the Predator, or have put myself in danger I will abandon the chase and return to the mission. I usually have one, or two, teammates following me while the others stay back and focus on the mission.

Sorry, you were up against my 3 man squad and a random today most likely, we’ve been hunting predators all day we aren’t the best team, but if your not one of the best predators we are not easy.
