how about making a free version of the game wich allows players only to play ft and only with assault class ?
it will make the game have more active players , pred will have normal wait times and these players maybe will buy the full game or some ft dlc(or both)

…is actually not a bad idea. Can’t see it being done anytime soon, but further down the road if the Devs are looking to keep the game (and income from DLC) afloat, this could be worth trying.

Can I suggest you change the thread title though, as I think it will get overlooked due to it sounding similar to a few other threads. Perhaps something along the lines of: ‘Free, FT-limited version of game to help keep player-base numbers up’.

damn, this is not bad! When they cant play pred, the q will be good and when they want to play as pred they have to buy it. I like the idea.
Maybe they can only level to 100 or 75, so they can play all standard characters

Exactly do it with the limited capabilities of a certain version (type: Demo or shareware of this game), simply put it to try what awaits you in the game and what the game can offer you. However, with certain restrictions to reach a certain level and equipment and weapons. After reaching this maximum possible level, it will no longer be possible to open further items in the game and the levels will be locked for this limited version. However, only after purchasing the full version could it continue to open up other possibilities of this game. To make it a motivation for those interested in this game.
PS: And maybe even expand the game to other game stores, for example to steam, etc. … In order to increase the game turnover and profit of this game. There would then be more players in the game, which is the purpose of this game. And don’t rely too much on just one game store

Controller FT is some of the worst FPS controls ever so why would that encourage people to buy the game though?
This isn’t Apex Legends, there’s a million better free first person shooters and illfonic doesn’t seem to have the manpower to handle all the F2P rotating cosmetic shop live service bells and whistles. Even when they do free to play weekends queue doesn’t seem to change much but maybe its the optional crossplay. If PS4 controls are made more appealing then sure, otherwise its pretty much just a turn off like the open beta was for a lot of people. Hunt Showdown didnt have a console beta because it would’ve literally hurt sales had people been able to test it beforehand, games don’t really do true demos or trial modes anymore which is sleazy but I get why its the case.
F2P players would be able to play in teams and anything is fun with friends so it does have that going for it, not bad.
Chances are PHG is getting a steam release anyways depending on Sony. F13s on Steam. If horizon zero dawn got a port this will too unless EGS has a fancier deal than usual.

If the new mode is pred co-op, it may be appealing to at least try it. I think pred is a more interesting character to play so teaming up with friends to play as pred would be a good selling point.
All of this works IF the new mode is pred co-op. Holding my breath here 😂

Or rework the game and make stealth relevant so different playstyles exist and its not just a bland linear shooter where enemies stand there and get shot at while one struggles to path to an alarm to summon more enemies out of thin air. FT just feels unfinished in general, they don’t even have animations beyond spinning interaction wheels.
I’m sure there’s like 5 people here who only exclusively play FT and have put 1000 hours into FT but I couldn’t even begin to guess why. Why not go play COD? You can’t mud up but atleast the AI will duck behind cover.
Because it’s asymmetric. Doubt rework or any major changes will happen.

Maybe. DBD has a bit of a different role for the protagonist team. It’s more of run, hide, trick, mind games soni doesn’t feel like a FPS type game at all

That’s the thing though you’d think a Predator game would be about stealth and mindgames considering half the movie is arnie hiding under a log covered in mud setting up traps.
Instead its a run and gun arena shooter with some extremely poor PvE aspects while you occasionally slather yourself in mud.
Ill trade bugs for more replayability anyday. Bugs can be fixed provided you dont fail so hard you get your game taken down Cyberpunk style.

this is not how it works my friend . 90% of sales are in first month later no onw will buy the game no matter how good it is , thats why we need partial free to play
