Anyone on this forum playing Friday the 13th on PS4?
Is it worth it to pick it up at this point? I’ve always wanted to play it but I understand there is no more content coming for it.

I do. Right now their servers are hacked so I would say no otherwise you could spend your money worse. It can be fun but I like this game better and I’m a much bigger fan of that franchise.

My friends play time to time
Often its buncha dumb people getting you killed or getting you noticed.
When they play counselors they say fuck everyone and play to get out. Apparently randos are dumb, like ours in Pred and get themselves killed.
But there is an issue where people lobby up in private parties and help Jason kill their randos.

I play everyday before or after I play pred it is definitely more fun and less repetitive IMO

F13 is pretty fun and has a way better matchmaking system than pred, but barely anyone plays anymore so it takes forever to get into a lobby now

Yeah , the small player base is what’s holding me back, in worried I will just waste my time and money.

Apparently they have the servers back up and running. I haven’t had a chance to hop back on it yet, but the game is really fun. When I am playing, I am currently grinding for the 1000 online matches as Jason achievement. Have about 250 matches to go. That trophy and the PhD in Murder trophy (achieve all kills as Jason) are the only two trophies I need to platinum.

It was fun at launch when no one knew what they were doing. Last I checked it was tommy jarvis and his premade friends w/ sweater and baseball bats circle strafe tbagging whoever got a 1/13th chance at jason lol
The VOIP is the only thing that’s always fresh illfonic’s great about letting players trash talk eachother.
Fun with friends as you encircle the jason player like wolves & knock him down 10 times.
They initiated a buff to Jason that makes him unstunnable after he gets into rage. It stopped the tea-bagging dance parties, but ending up making Jason very easy to kill, as he takes full damage with non-stun hits. Currently killing Jason is the easiest “win” condition for the counselors.

I appreciate all of the feedback.
I think I might give it a shot if the next Predator patch / update is lackluster.
Either that or Dead by Daylight.

In my personal Opinion @Exanguinate, hell yes.
I found a nifty XP Exploit (it was patched sadly) literally a couple of days before a 2x Event last Summer (July I believe). I went from 65ish to the 150 max in a few days on my X-Box Account (there’s no way in hell I’m doing that again on PS4). I mention this because all of the Options you get for Jason, between all of the Skins and Weapons, pays excellent homage to the Films.
At it’s core, it’s a lot of fun. Yes, it’s a bit janky and cheesy… but so are all of the Films. You watch them for fun and not for Oscar worthy Content. If Illfonic nailed one thing in both Friday the 13th and Hunting Grounds, it’s the authenticity.
It boils down to this: These Games are made for the fans, by the fans. Anyone who isn’t into Jason or the Predator won’t enjoy it as much.

Also there are leaks for DBD with code words like “camper” and “slasher” for the next two DLC and a huge graphical overhaul coming just saying…
So what you are saying is go for DbD right out of the gate?
