How about this? I mean if someone is trying to hit your teammate with a spear, it’s not the best idea to use your minigun against this person, right? I mean now even a monkey can play as Fireteam, no need to think, no need to use any tactics. Would be fun, don’t you think so?

I agree that I think the Fire Team should be required to play, deploy and equip tactically. Friendly fire would encourage this. They should be called to use the right weapon for the right circumstance. Otherwise, everybody can just load up with a sniper rifle and a grenade launcher and just lean on sheer damage output.

It can also be abused. Stopping that kind of behavior is also a pain to do
