FT does not fear the Predator

No, I do not but I play a lot of random games. Let me explain to you how this goes. I get into a game, I see people splitting up, I yell at them on my mic to not to that, they ignore (obviously). Then I think to myself… Get ready for some losses, ah well, at least I will get them back with reinforcements and I hope they will do better after.

Now imagine a world where I can’t do that. I would leave the moment I see this people on my team, the moment I see they don’t do a good job. If one leaves, most times everybody leaves. As a predator, how is your que? I get less then 1 min and hope the next team does better.

Lol I swear it wasnt a personal attack towards you. Maybe. Lol. The reason I’m so harsh towards bloodthirsty is because he reminds me of the really annoying ppl I raided with in games sometimes that just were just non stop talking, narrating everything.

Which isnt helpful. Non stop stating the obvious is just distracting. It was to the point where I had to tell a few of them to chill the fuck out.

Your answer has defeated the whole purpose of your arguement lol if fire team knew that they have one life then there wouldnt be any randoms splitting up playing hotshot, the problem is too many fire team players rushes through the match and chasing predator knowning that some tactical skillful team member will spoonfeed their ass back into play when they die by having to run the otherside of the map to use reinforcement so know not only spawning back but have 100% perks lol.

Fireteam members split even after reinforcements. My argument is fine. I have no idea how you balance this around good groups and casual groups, there is a massive difference.

For example, it happened to me so many times for a berserker with a combistick just jump in the middle of us, kill one and claim him as we where ALL SHOOTING AT HIM. Then he just run away, leaping… At that point if not for reinforcements I can just leave the game since there is no point staying there… But, but parry! So few people are able to do that its not even funny. Even if I know how to do it is meaningless. I parried a berserker 3 times in a fight, he ran away and guess what he did after? He attacked someone else who did not know how to do that.

Yes predator is squishy as fuck. Especially scout. As long as ft shoots at pred, like at least 2 ppl, that’s enough damage where the pred is forced to fuck off.

So far the majority of teams I play against are already looking at the good overlooking spots before I even get there. Even I do it the rare times I play ft, cause I know the spots. On my hunter typically one sniper shot will take a good 10 or 15% hp. So not too many shots and its game over man.

Ft heal isnt that good? Aww welcome to the club. I even killed a pred with a knife in second wind cause that’s how long it takes for pred to heal.

The ft can recover pretty easily and if they’re watching each others back, pred will have a damn near impossible time wiping a team.

Aside from maybe the first time I killed a pred, every ft victory I’ve had has not felt satisfying. Cause it’s so damn easy. It was to the point that my last few ft games I literally just felt bad for the pred because of how scared they have to be of ft. Sure I can get around the bullshit, but not the casual pred. Its gotten so bad that I honestly cant see a casual player win as pred unless the ft is brand fkn new.

Longer and more complex missions would at least make winning as ft an accomplishment.

Theres a vid showing, btw, how some weapons shred a pred in a matter of seconds.

To be honest buddy I was just browsing through the forum, I’m normally on here for abit of banter and a laugh really but when I stumbled across this forum I was reading through and the rest is well.

The zerker does NOT need a clear nerf lol.

Its actually the easiest to counter as a decent FT since it cant plasma spam like the other two, or get away in 2nd wind.The only chance a pred has vs a decent FT is to range/poke it down in health slowly over time until they run outa meds.

The best pred for this is actually the scout pred using the slam spam/exploit, mixed with plasma shots and never standing still.

The zerker vs a decent FT is dead as soon as he tries to melee, since they;'ll all just vector or LMG him down instantly. The zerker is strong vs bad teams who split up and dont cover eachother or LOS eachother. But thats not how you balance a game…

You balance a game by making sure the top players are evenly matched, when you start to balance a game by the slowest kid in the class, well thats how you end up with the mess like this.

Lat time I played I got 5 losses out of 7 games. That is not easy. No idea how you quantified it, of course. make them longer or nerf FT/buff predator and oh boy!
4 where against berserker with combistick. The only time the guy attacked me I parried 3 times, he got away, next time attacked someone else. Can’t teach other people to parry. We lost…

Scout is supposed to have low health, it can make up in other areas and a predator is not supposed to sit there exchanging fire with the fireteam. A predator is supposed to play as the video I posted in the begining of this topic. Even on a support with the health perk, most of my health goes down to 1 well placed plasma blast (fully charged). Just wait until I activate an objective, get mud etc and fire.

A predator has 2-3 health packs and a great number of pigs. Its fine.

Random teams don’t really watch each others back and a good predator waits for distraction (npc for instance) and then does its thing. I noticed so many times randoms running on the other side of the camp to be sure they get the kill on npc…

Now even with 1 extra friend I do far better but that is another story.

Sure it does. The skill needed to pull said tactic is far easier then to counter it. A noob can attack like that, a noob can’t counter like that, is that simple to understand? You should not need a decent FT to counter a move that a noob can do.
I played 3 games as a predator, berserker, combistick and impenetrable. Won all 3, from my first game!

Now a skileld team, sure, no problem stopping that move. Random teams… Haha no! Do this. Wait for them to engage in a fight, they split up trying to kill mobs. Jump in on one, kill him and claim him. Easy as pie. Whatever shots the team gets in are not going to do shit.
Someone posted a video of him wiping the team with something similar like what I said. IN RECORD TIME!

Sorry mate you’re just wrong. im yet to see a zerker survive us more than 120 seconds after first hitting us with a melee weapon. 34 games my premade played yesterday, and we won every game. The only ones that gave us any issue at all, were decent Scouts and hunters who plasma spammed.

Every game is like playing Spyro (collecting gems) and thats it. Zerkers are a joke at the moment because as soon as they come in, 1 parry… Vector/LMG and gg.

You don’t read my post or you just like pulling strawman arguments. Whatever you can do on your PREMADE TEAM is IRRELEVANT. Try having a noob squad of random players and see how that goes. A noob predaror can pull that move easy.

Thats how you end up with a total shitshow like this game is currently, because the devs clearly didnt expect FT players to be able to rape the pred in 10 seconds flat.

You balance a game by making different classes needed similar skill to play. If one side can have less skilled person wiping the floor with a superior skileld person, then you have a problem. If a noob can attack in X way then another noob should be able to counter said attack. You should not have a noob capable of using X attack and needing a superior skilled premade working together to counter it. That is broken!
I don’t expect the game to be balanced around noobs, I expect the game to need the same amount of skill to execute an attack as it takes to defend against said attack.

Nope. Smites the perfect example of this. Around season 3 they started balancing only around pro player feedback and now the game has no sense of balance, and only some characters and items are viable.

So the key is to balance all around, not on one side.
Also 34 games as ft? Did you play pred at all? Ft is boring as shit. Not really an accomplishment, those wins considering ft is easy as shit lol.

Here we go. So… This is the current state of balance, Your guys argument is that sure group PA is wiping out group FTS (Sucky rando FT’s) And sure they win some against the majority of players the AFT (Average FT).
But this doesnt address the fact that the preds have a total void when it comes to group PE (awesome preds). Who have nothing to answer group EFT (a really good premade).

And yeah I play pred a lot when my FT isnt around. Im a 50/50 player with so far 96 hours already under my belt.

(Edit, slight mistake the sucky FTS on the right should be as high as the sucky pred).
