FT has overpowered guns that melt pred in 3secs
What does that have to do with the knife?
Most people cant parry good if you don’t just mash in their face. Mix it up… I have many hours in For Honor, so this is no problem for me at all.
Exactly absolutely nothing, when pred is in close melee FT must shot him with OP guns and knife must be useless in most of situations
If you jump in the middle of 4 people that have big guns and you try to melee all of them, expect to get lit-up.
Best case against a competent team is that you down & quick claim 1 person, then you get second winded and have to run away to heal while being chased by the remaining 3 FT members. Most of the time, you die.
The knife parry is to counter the “I’m gonna run in and punch everyone in the face” strategy. It’s to punish Predator players who just try to rush in and face tank everything.
Learn a better strategy as the Predator.

Knife parry is just meant to put predator off his attack and come back again later u not meant to keep going in swinging cause your put in a short stun state being reppled by the parry while being shot at by the other 3, leap away and approach them again later and it dont have to be close range if they are good at parrying
That’s right gimme machete instead. I wan’t to kill pred with 2-3 strikes.

I see both sides to this argument.
Parry can be overpowered against a good fireteam.
You never know how good a fireteam will be before starting the match, so I suggest sacrifice a bow or plasma gun so you can use the net gun.
This will make it to where they cannot parry and you can go about killing them.
Temporary fix until Illfonic makes an attempt at addressing this mechanic that a lot of people agree is broken.
I am not saying it IS or ISN’T broken, I am just stating what I have heard people say.
Parry is fucking stupid in the context of this setting AND gameplay.

The chances of it changing are very small.
I understand, in some cases it is stupid and doesn’t make sense.
No real use in talking about it however, since they haven’t announced they will be making any changes to the parry feature.
They have responded to feedback. Its worth bringing up.
