The new cloak is not an issue compared to the rediculous snipers that destroy clash and the op bane buffs.
If you revert cloak to ass again the ps4 preds will be shot across the map from low graphic users.
I am standing firm that the predator should be hard to spot and its better for the game.
It was tested. After 45 meters even while moving, the pred was completely invis.
The only ppl who will really suffer is randoms.
I should have recorded it, but I got no reason to lie.
I dont favor any one side completely, I just like pred a bit more since its funner for me.
So why would I want to fuck pred over?
So if pc can see it thatās good for you, but Iām telling you I tested it and it wasnt showing up.

At least until FT is consistently getting wiped from that range without ever seeing the Predator
I mean if this itās how its gonna be, il just fully exploit it and run around with the infinite cloak build and handheld.

Just as I opened to the forums. Good timing on that tag.
Hereās the best answer I can give: After a decent amount of time if it is a net positive, weāll keep it. If it needs work, weāll evaluate it. Significant changes are sometimes tough to take (Iām still salty at the change in the Young Ahamkaraās Spine from D1 -> D2, even though the D2 version can net better results with good play), so weāll have to see how things boil out. For transparency, for this week, weāre collecting balance-based feedback but kinda keeping it in a separate bucket. After this week and next week I think we should have enough feedback to loop everyone internally and share what the people are saying for people who get to make decisions about the game.
On a personal, ānot-speaking-as-a-devā, I like the change. Predators are a lot more terrifying, and I think it balances well with the clicking that people wanted to tone back. EG my experiences now are more:

Exotic gear in that game. Starting year 2, it let the hunter class have an extra laser tripmine charge and improved how long they would last. In PvP, I figured out all of the places that would nuke like 3 people at a time but people couldnāt see, and would litter the map with death. They toned that back for Destiny 2.
Thereās also a gun called Thorn that was my D1 jam that was also nerfed in D2, but I figured out a post-nerf weapon juggle that means I never actually waste time reloading guns and I can do amazing PvE dps or crowd control (and does even more damage if I can manage both well). Anywaysā¦

U tapped in the transparency of cloak, i think the cloak should sort of resembel this.
A bit more hard to spot from the distance if u ask meā¦
It can be cool once. But think about people that play this game more than once in while. This effect disapper very early and the pvp aspect of the game slwill start to become boring because you cant interact with the Predator if he is FULL INVISIBLE while moving at 40 meters. I know the stealth aspect, but there is a different from stealth in a multyplayer and in a single player. That is more like the second oneš .
U know what i would love howeverā¦ illfonic to put some time into making adaptable render distance fade in and out for the cloak and predator distance from fireteamā¦
And like around 50-100 predator will technically sort of make players see some blurring and then he will dissapear into nothingness, would give more scarier vibes if u ask meā¦ Like more scarier than just full invisibilityā¦
Full invisibility would be cool af if the clicking would echo from distance from a far as @OldKingHamlet saidā¦
Like the clicking would occure more for echo wise and u cant pin point reallyā¦ sort of passive ability but nothing too unfair for fireteam that audio decoys cant do.

Its a stealth asyim. Theyāve slowly been moving away from the arena shooter aspects - toning down clicking, footsteps etc. Never play Hidden:Source
You shouldnāt be more stealthy with the cloak off, period. Yet thats how it was previously.
True cloak literally only affects your textures and looksā¦
It does not make footsteps quieter and stuffā¦
Either way there needs to be more FINE approach with the fading in and out of fireteams POV when pred is cloakedā¦ sort of when in the movies he just disappears and then appearsā¦ up close he is fairly visibly invisible but human eye sight does not react properly with the distanceā¦
Yep I agreed 100%. But the current version is beyond stealthy. Like even if you know his position you cant do nothing because you cant see him even WHILE MOVING. The shooter aspect will be a part of this game for ever since itās MARINES against an alien. Marines use guns you know. Itās not dead by daylight , itās different.

Blurr or glimps of cloak stutter a bit when he either moves or fires out in the distanceā¦
I want an arena shooter mode where itās all predators equipped with weapons of war
By that i mean picture a flash bang effect that slowly transitions from white to regular colorā¦
But with thisā¦ it sort of shows IMPERFECT cloak when he is firing or moving in distanceā¦ And when he stops he becomes invisibleā¦
But when he leaps around he should have a moment of those fadings that stop when he either crouch walks or stops moving.
