FT Mud odd tip

Odd tip / note for all FT players here, you can re-mud up exactly 47 seconds after you finish applying mud. You are still hidden from the Predator at this point but you will become more noticeable over the next 30 seconds. Mud lasts longer than the 47 second window, but re-applying it resets the timer. This also applies for all perks and the recon class.

If you are the ultimate min/maxer you can apply mud while sprinting if you slide, look at the ground and interact. You probably only save one actual second and only travel 1 yard further… but hey, the Predtor might have been aiming a Bow shot at your head that you now narrowly dodged.

Also have no idea why the indicator for mud is a lie. The mud wearing off and the game not accurately reflecting this is huge.

This whole game has a serious issue not showing players information. Honestly, if I didn’t like Asymmetrical games and the Predator so much I would be shocked at how incompetent a developer is.

I don’t say that with the toxicity others here do, I’m just annoyed at the consistent bugs, perplexing design decisions and lack of communication.

Oh yeah, cause mud has a monitoring system informing the user that it’s going to expire soon.

It’s mud guys… It dries and that’s it.

No it’s a game mechanic which needs an updated meter to be shown to the player so they at least know when you should re-mud up than to assume they still have working mud by looking at the edges of their screen/weapon only for that to not be the case or having to constantly look to the ground to let you know when to mud up.

I disagree. A meter just takes away the tension and uncertainty.

Also, you don’t need to look at the ground. Just look at the player hands. If it’s getting cleaner it’s time to mud up, also you get a muddy vignette that is getting weaker.

Personally i find the weapon, regardless of what type, to be the prime indicator of when to mud up. I think thats just logic. But then you have those guys who just do it because of anxiety…those guys…you know right before getting to the re-inforcement radio… who just get wacked by the predator after mudding up at the wrong time…while the Ft members who are dead are waiting and depending and watching their moves!
