If he pulls out his knife, you have that thing on your shoulder called a plasma caster. Or if you are wielding the stick, throw that thing through his chest. I’ve done it, I’ve seen others do it, and it has been done to me too (yes, I did pull out my knife when coming face to face with a beserker, as my experience taught me they tend to rush in swinging that stick… Big teachable moment getting blast through the face point blank by a plasma caster…).

You have more than just that stick or your blades… Use them!

yea thats ture you do have that but they have nade launchers, also i stunned STUNNED that you would even think its a good idea to have an item on the fire team that ONE GUY A SINGLE GUY ONE TINNY GUY can counter ALL of the predators melee weapons. i am stunned what has the world come too where people think its a good idea for in an ASYMMETRICAL horror game to allow ONE GUY out of the four to be a match for the predator. the WHOLE POINT to having the predator be alone is that hes ment to be powerful having the option to take his power away with a default item thats on your character makes the game borring having to play in a way thats not cannon to the lore of the movies makes no sense

plus i can promiss you if they leave the kinfe as is and they nerf the predator in ANY WAY in the next update your gonna see people walk form this game i can guarantee it.

you think the match making time is bad now? Nerf the pred and buff the fire team. that’ll show you what bad match making time looks like

WHY DONT YOU JUST THROW THE SPEAR? all the people here demand a buff here and a nerf there, when all you need is more tactical playstyle. Adapt! If you wanna play easy-> play the marine, if you wanna have to think and adapt–> Predator

abdolutly not, you need 4 body shot to knock down a fire team member with bow, and 3 if you hit one head shot. I use bow all the time with hunter and the perk that gives you more range damage and I can confirm you that. One shot is only if you head shot him from meele range and he is not full hp. Bow, and smart disc as you said, need buff for sure. Plasma cannon is fine, plasma pistol need more range efficiency because from meele range you should meele if it make sense.

Bow slow debuff is insignificant , is very negligible. Plasma cannon is fine but is the only range weapon you can use at the moment (considered also that is higly visible). And not, combi throw doesnt one shot, only if someone has not full hp.

I believe you, but all I can say is that when I play as a scout (which I usually do, sometimes recon) I’m dead in 2 shots from the bow. I’m saying this because it happened lots of times. But again, I’m not saying that you are wrong, this was just my experience.

That is what happens when a dev doesn’t understand the source material. And doesn’t know how to design proper game mechanics. Like when you point the leap red circle to a far away spot that has an obstruction under it and you leap. You get stopped by the object underneath and come down vertically at that very obstruction. This game is so fail. I probably won’t even get to level 50 before it dies ☹️

im also not sayingg i dont want the combistick nerfed i do, but what i am saying is unless you touch the fire team and nerf what needs to be nerfed you cant touch the combistick, might as well be Barney coming after you if you do that

If course its not one shot. But if you attack by surprise which should always be the goal likle jumping in and so on. I almost every time land the first stick attack before they begin to parry. then you throw the stick (or use shoulder cannon , net or whatever, and down he goes. A single marine is never a threat. Only in group.

Yeah, the game is a broken mess right now. Made worse by delusional FT players that want to deny their privilege and create stupid threads calling the Pred OP…
i dont know if they honestly believe that or just want the game to stay in their favor.

I really hope the Dev Team can sort out the truth from the BS and get this game where its supposed to be at…

Like i said before.
An Asymmetric Game is supposed to be about a team of UP players having to work together to overcome one OP player…
But Predator Hunting Grounds(in its current state) is 4 OP players working together to bully one UP player…

to beat parry simple use plasma caster and dont keep spamming melee. then try using net… how about jump and slam them! - throw the spear at them… use a bow…

There is literally anything you can do to beat it… but not

He actually isn’t wrong most preds before you can react are right on top of you, I’ve stared down the many barrels of the minigun and survived in one of my earlier matches when I didn’t implement my plasma caster as much as I do now: skip to 5:15 and I am the hunter in this

I definitely don’t advise slamming unless the team is split up, it may do a lot of damage but it leaves you vulnerable long enough to get a lot of licks in.

Health pickups… the maps has way too many heath pickups for Fireteam.

If pred is never going to get a proper buff, then Pred needs to be able to wear FT down, and thats just not doable when they are literally swimming in ammo and heath items…

It is true they have a lot of healing items but the ones in the open world can be destroyed by plasma caster just like the ammo and even the ones they place can be destroyed just harder to do so depending where they set it down

Combat as a predator should be your last resort anyway. If you are fighting like that you have to change angle, jump out come back in so they don’t expect it otherwise they will parry you all day long. Even so use your other tools they are there for a reason. If you go in on a solo marine and he is beating you with his knife then get out and use some range on that fucker. You have a giant plasma gun on your shoulder for a reason as well as other disarming tools like the net gun.
