FT reinforcements suggestion

As much as i am not sure it should even be in the game, I have a suggestion to at least make it a little less frustrating.

How about having to collect the dog tags of dead teammates in order for them to be eligible for respawn.
Much like collecting the banners on Apex Legends.
Even potentially a time limit in order to retrieve the dog tags.

As an example of the current mechanics failing, I played a match yesterday where I stalked a very organised team and wore them down over time, using both my heal kits to do so. My 3rd attack i downed 3 FT and in the confusion lost track of the 4th. I then went and got the 3 trophies feeling quite accomplished.
However, the 4th guy had ran off and started the reinforcements and within a few seconds I was back to square one with no med kits left and a smidge of health remaining. I lost obviously.

This mechanic doesn’t work. However, if he had to collect the dog tags in order to revive, that would most definitely made it a more interesting game.

the idea is not bad, but how about it:

You can reclaim the badges of your fallen allies and the predator must reclaim their skulls, the first to arrive takes it away.

If you claim first you can revive that partner, if I the predator claim first, that partner will NOT return to the game even if you can call reinforcements.

Yeah, something like that could work as well. Would make much better risk/reward gameplay mechanics. The key element is retrieval of some kind and not the last surviving member just making a break for it and undoing all the hard work without penalty.
Or at least restock the preds medkits on reinforcement.

It would even help the game last longer, because if you have to claim your partner’s badge, you know that something is lurking outside. Do you risk going out or are you waiting for him to leave?
You can communicate to any ally that makes noise or tries to move away / to distract the predator while you take the plate …

Exactly. Anything to make games last longer is a positive in my eyes as well. Better missions. Forced separation, something that means you have to split into 2 groups for a simultaneous action or whatever. So many potential things not being implemented which would make much better games.

I know for a fact if the last guy retrieved the fallen dogtags and resurrected - I wouldn’t be mad, I’d be impressed!
