If you get spotted, that’s your fault.
Simple. Dont get mad at the games mechanics for your inability to adapt and change tactics on the fly.
This game punishes mistakes. Clearly you can’t admit when youv’e made one and got punished for it.
FT Spots PRED from anywhere and any distance. This is no hunt.
Spotting is fine, just adapt to the moving more and trying to come in from a different approach.
If your getting spotted in the trees try going on foot. If they spot you on foot then leap away and reposition your self.
You guys complaining about spotting only show show incredibly rigid your style of gameplay is.
Adapt, grow, get better from your mistakes.

they honestly need to make it so u can’t spam tag and only one person can tag the pred at a time, especially if the pred isn’t stealthed

It’s a legit mechanic,
Everything has a counter.
Leap slam = dont stick together
Melee combo = parry
Plasma spam = leaves you vulnerable and exposed you
Got spotted = reposition your and cloak and rethink strategy
There are so many ways to approach a good Ft/predator.
Players need to acknowledge their own mistakes and grow from them.
That’s how you get better at this game.
Spot spamming is just as stupid as leap slam spamming or plasma caster spamming but its apart of the game.
We adapt and find ways to work around it.

Not spotting itself but marking cloaked predators is a game breaking mechanic. This is why:
PC players have deadly accuracy and can spam spot any area they hear pred vocal activity (clicks) - by doing so they will instantly revel preds position, mark him and make him visible through solid objects… WTF? This game is about a stealth hunter using light bending tech. Who the fuck coded that stupid as fuck wallhack in to this game I’m asking?! It makes no sense and gives the PC FT the luxury of not thinking/planning. Their survival aspect of the game is gone. Preds hunt/stalk aspect is also gone. Try playing pred against a full PC FT and you will se it does not have sense.

Until illFonic can give us console players the mouse and Keyboard option ingame my cross play is for ever off. Besides most of the player base in on ps4 anyway lol. I’m okay with it

Totally man, I’m on PC and I can tell 100% this game is massively unbalanced when it comes to FT on PC and PS4. The difference is absolutely monstrous – all the initial claims of ppl hacking – that was simply the fact FT is extremely OP when fully PC. Its almost like they are invincible, 90% of that comes from ability to mark cloaked preds. PS4 also has this ability, but mouse accuracy + spamming spot button (especially when assigned to mouse ) is like heaven – earth difference.
this is a FT based game my friend. Ive been saying this since the beta.
And this spotting is the most absurd game mechanic ive seen in 38 years of game play.
But these guys dont care about what is fair or not. not even illfonic does.
they just want the pred being heard , seen and shot everywhere.
Thats why they make him click like crazy and reveal his entire body to the other players when they randonly hit the spot button through the map area.
They want us to look like idiots, since we cant plan an attack.

Harsh as it sounds, but this game will lose its player base because of that one single stupid mechanic. Only ppl left will be FT mains, and then they will go quz there will be nobody left to spam spot…
Its funny how Illfonic not only avoids doing something about marking cloaked preds – they are also avoiding like fire making any comments about it, despite community screaming in their face that there was a serious problem since trail days. Strange…

this is already happening.
they made the game too easy for ft players since the begining compared to pred.
Them they released patches and buffed the pred to balance but the start was so bad that even now the game is still ft based. Most pred weapons are still useless next to the ft firepower and team work.
In this game you have to play a desperate game since the first second, cuz if you get lost a little the fireteam calls the chopper in 4 minutes!
you have to rush like hell and when you aproach them you are spotted from affar and they all give up killing the soldirers to HUNT you!
yeah, the predator is the prey in this game!
no doubt playbase will die. I wont give up never cuz i love this character.
but i cant say the same for players who just bought the game to have fun and know the predator and get disappointed by what they actualy see.

All you said is true, you know why I’m still in? quz I love pred, loved that sonofabitch since I was 10, and I really hope for modding support in future - if Illfonic can’t make this right, we will.
