Politely disagree, Pred mains are the only one’s I see bitch with any regularity. Parry being the obvious one. Early in the forums days before I joined I understand there was more FT main bitching but it hasn’t been the case lately.
Each fight is a 1v1, the game isn’t actually a 1v4 either. The game is PvPvE. The E in that is supposed to draw the attention of the 4 so the 1 can pick them off or drain their resources.
I’m sure you can think of things to add rather than subtract, if the E aren’t providing opportunities how can they be provided.
I mean I’m a hybrid so when I see extremes on both sides I think its stupid.
But the ft complains seem way more ridiculous than most pred mains.
The E doesnt tho.

This game was designed as a 1v4, and it should be that.
But just because theres a.i. to fight, that doesn’t automatically make it a 1v1.
Typically I hate needing other people to do shit in a game. Like I absolutely hate raids in mmo’s cause they’re just lame ass gimmicks.
So believe me, I completely understand wanting to be able to 1v1 the pred. But Inna pvp setting. It’s just not fair.
But ya, that’s just how I feel.
I think you’re misunderstanding, I don’t think people should 1v1ing the Pred. I do think that one person if skilled should be able to defend or push the Pred off. The Pred will eventually wins as your resources dwindle or you buy time as they leave to heal.
I disagree with it being characterized as FT mains wanting to 1v1, and Pred mains seeing it as 1v4. It’s actually a much more complicated drawing, of a number of 1v1’s against both the AI and the Predator happening over time.
As is, most attacks are the Pred leaping into you, zero attempt at getting the drop on you. Very little in the way of strategy, what passes for tactics is throw, wrist, wrist, down. I’d like more but the game is not yet capable of it.
Some lessons need to be learned both by the devs and the players. Right now the game favours the Pred on PS4 (With random’s) and apparently FT on PC or in cross play. Predator players need a higher skill level than a FT player, but there’s more mini choices for a Predator to make as well. Everything from your Pred class to your preferred method of travel during a match.
These mini choices aren’t prompted like with FT and so you need to learn what works. Viewing it your way limits how you can see the game. You’re constantly thinking of the FT as one thing you need to beat all at once rather than four individuals that can be harried, into making mistakes that give you 1v1’s. It shouldn’t be 1v1 equally but Pred’s should view each kill that way. You divide and conquer.
I’ll explain better at a later date if you remind me. There’s more to say about it.
