FT Tutorial

I know this has been suggested before but are there any plans to make a simple ass FT tutorial so new people can at least get the bare minimum in FT basics?

There are people who don’t know that mudding up is a thing because the game doesn’t tell you, nor is there anything telling the player how to get out of a trap, nor defuse a bomb.

Veteran players know this after having had to learn everything the hard way which makes no sense.

The game’s been out for what nearly two years and there’s no basic tutorial for the second faction that does not even remotely play the same as the other. You don’t even have to teach them how to aim just mud up, spot, get of trap, and defuse. Simple basic shit that does not require common sense.

I understand that you guys can’t divulge out too much info but this should have been in the game since launch. What has been taking so long?

So when you First Log in for the very First time. It should ask you if you have Watch Predator.

If the answer is no. It should lock you out for 24 hours and, after that if you lie and say yes the first game you don’t mud up you get disconnected

Considering the predator tutorial ain’t exactly helpful, I doubt they could make a satisfactory one for fireteam.

Fuckin press x to jump levels of detail, they just give the most basic explanations of button inputs then say ‘you’re good to go, nevermind any pigs you see, nothing important there, you’ll figure it out now that you know how to crouch and leap’…

Theyre busy on their other games. This one has since took a shit and died.

What amazes me is that the game legit focuses on you playing as the Fire Team with an XP bonus and ALL the daily/ weekly missions revolving around the FT however there is no tutorial.

I can only assume they said to themselves, “Meh… they’ll figure it out”, when the developers mentioned it at the drawing board.

Even then just something that tells you “look down at this mud and press and hold the action. This will make it so it’s harder for the pred to see you.” They don’t have to go so in depth but I mean just the bare minimum would suffice.

Not gonna lie… I learned how to play from this forum.

It shouldn’t be that way. There should def be a tutorial.

It took me like 2 or 3 games to figure out on the free trial how I had to play as FT, the game tells you some of what to do in the match. Which is why I dont get why some people have so much trouble to go to the waypoint of the mission or the reinforcements, its so obvious, its written on the screen. Potatos are just braindead and hopeless. Those guys wouldnt even play a FT tutorial. You try to explain things on the game chat it takes them minutes to process the info.

The Predator tutorial is useless, doesnt explain anything about how to actually play in a match, what target isolation is. No Wonder some times you have to Hunt the Predator if you want to see him.

I was then I beat the campaign on legendary, played the multiplayer for a bit till I started getting burnt out, now I’m back to play whatever is on my PS that I haven’t finished.

Was for a while but haven’t been able to play with my brothers for a bit so I just burned myself out so I’ll go back to after this week.

All it needs to do is let people know the bare minimum in the basics of playing FT, the shit that you wouldn’t know was a thing because it’s not in other FPS games.

Newbies don’t even do Preds tutorial before going into the match.

That’s why you can see Preds, not cloaked, killing 10+ AI’s in the base next to you, with wristblades only.

That’s what you get when you give out the game for free.

That raises another point, make the tutorial mandatory if it’s your first time playing. It shouldn’t be a slog but short, sweet and to the point. If they’re gonna be stupid then let them educated dumbfucks rather than ignorant ones.
