Some FTs, almost always premades decide to hunt the predator instead of playing the mission.
As pred, do you engage (which is what they want) or do you wait until they get bored?

Pretty easy, 2 or 3 give cover fire, one focuses the mission.
No joke.
Those 3 can even engage the pred is a good spot.
It’s a slightly cheap strategy, but if you’re more interested in completing missions, this is a good one.
The common situation is roof camping with the 50 cal. It’s really annoying and they can see almost every area of the map. You can’t trade shots with them because the 50 cal fires a lot faster than the plasma caster and doesn’t need recharging, and they can dodge the blasts. You can try shooting arrows but again they strafe so it’s extremely hard to hit with an arrow. You can go in melee but they want that. One will parry while the others run in and start stabbing.
Engage. So this one is more of a personal approach.
If they’re pred hunters, like I am,
Most likely they will be extremely cocky.
They will chase you.
You can take complete advantage of this tunnel vision and force them to follow your flow of the match.
There’s a bunch of little things I do and look out for, instinctively more than anything, which turns their plan around on them.
I welcome whatever plan they bring.
I honestly prefer if they fight me.
It means I dont gave to worry about them completing the mission.
Of course this is just my personal thoughts on the matter.
If you really want to annoy these groups, pretend to fight them and have them chase you throughout the jungle xD.
This. It’s all about managing time and doing the best out of the time you are given in terms of Match Time and situations.
Your guys managed to Second Wind Pred? Good, now you guys can finish up the mission that your one guy was doing a lot of the heavy lifting for. Not bad considering the alternative if it goes wrong, a FT or 2 dies and Predator snowballs into a comeback.

Hey you realize if they stay on the roof they cant mud up right?
Try scanning them and then use the diamond to shoot them through the ceiling with splash damage. Itl be tricky and they might move, but idk.
Might work.
It will annoy them at the very least.
another note with this, most likely that 1 person will get fucked by a.i.
If you can catch on to the fact that the ft is doing this as pred, go kill the solo guy xD.

It really is all about getting that first crucial kill. They can get demoralized. Or they immediately burn the reinforcement.
The hard part is getting it because they’ll do pretty much anything to get their teammate up.
Yea, but then you can just run A.I perks and give em at least one good Pred-Damage Weapon for when Pred either catches on or just happens to choose em. Not sure who’d volunteer for the dirty work, but someone’s gotta do it.
I used to go Support, with Body Armor, Flesh Ripper and Weapons Handling before 2.0. A.I was a joke to me and I was busy 2 shoting, and Predators were useally going for me, but the damage I dealt is enough to be dangerous regardless.

Find thick foliage, set up an ambush: traps, motion sensors, then draw them in. Preferred weapons: Spear and Shoulder Cannon.
But yea, on the Predator’s side of things?
Study your targets before you engage, of course, you can just look at the scoreboard to see who’s playing who, but that only gives you a rough estimate of their proposed playstyle.
Scouts and Supports are likely to be the Mission Dudes, you don’t want to be a twig, nor dead weight when fighting Predator, especially alone. However, the chance of actually finding a Scout FT Member nowadays is like finding a Predator Scout. These guys normally should grab Thick Skin or DMG Defense perks like O.W.L.F Trained or Body Armor. However, this doesn’t mean they’re easy pickings just because they don’t have DMG Perks. That Extra Stamina Perk is just 1 Point now, so EVERYONE with a brain cell is running it. Don’t be a Melee-Andy and get Parried, join the Ranged-Andys. Support Big Boys are likely killing the A.I, and Scouts Zoom Boys are likely doing OBJ with the Dextrous Perk. However, Dutch '87 does this but without the downsides of Scout, so beware.
Assault and Dutch’25/'87 can easily fill numrous roles. It’s these ones you have to be careful about, especially the Assaults. While both Dutches can be locked into either a Pred-Killer or a Assault/Recon Scout/Recon Hybrid playstyle, Assault can do a little bit of everything. Carry a extra Health/Ammo Bag for the team, or go a little Recon with Noisemakers or Thermal Decoys for when Dutches and Recon don’t feel like throwing em just yet. Class Passives are good enough so that any Perk goes (that one also goes to Dutches to a lesser extent.) Like I said with perks, these guys can be a wild card. Bane-Andys, A.I-Andys, Zoom-Andys, anything goes.
Recon just exists to sneak and be a pot shotter at Pred. Easy Mask-Killer and in general nuisance if they can hit their shots, not to mention misdirecting Pred if the Pred falls for it. Pretty much Bane-Andys.

I’d say always watch for the scout, there’s a good chance that fucker will either chase you down to ends of earth should you be 2nd winded or if you kill the team will be the one to constantly mud up and run around the map triggering alarms and setting up distractions all the while staying hidden to either wait until the timers up or complete the objectives.
