Just got out up a scout with minigun for 7 seconds, didn’t go into second wind. Fucking. Hackers.

What was the distance, Did you actually land all your shots? (Not sure how bad the spread is on the gun if there’s any at all). Be mindful that Scout has 10% Bullet resistance and can get an extra 10% or 20% from Impenetrable

Well I’d recommend not using the Minigun. It’s a pretty poor weapon and depending on distance only does 12 or less damage. Not only range but again, Scout can have anywhere between 10-30% Bullet resistance making the Minigun even worse

Elder Sword is a good weapon. Sounds like point blank and assuming you managed to hit all your shots (despite the animation moving around crazy like) that’s 12dmg per sec. Do you know what perks they may have had?

For scout it would be like 40 dmg let second

No it wouldn’t. The Minigun does 12dmg a sec not including damage reduction perks and 0m’s. When I get on I’ll gladly test it but I’d like to know if the Scout had 10% or 30% damage reduction

Just tested it. Spread is outrageous and some of the bullets clip through. Not to mention with the Pred swing animation it’s doubtful all shots hit. I do see what you mean how it would be higher than 12 a sec but it’s heavily dependant on the accuracy of the spread, distances between target, Perks, and what that target is doing

Swap your minigun for this.

Yeah… Minigun is worthless. When i see that weapon, i assume it’s a noobie.
But that’t not an UZI, though…

It’s not really worthless, it actually comes in handy on Headquarters since it is indoors. That’s only one I use it in

I’m sure any other AR or SMG are more handy than that…

Think about it

Most missions on hq are carried out in the building so Pred has to come in and melee to attack

Usually the rooms are kinda small so it is easier to hit

I know. But i believe any other weapon has more dps than the minigun

Moralez is right. Anything will out DPS the Minigun cause anything is more accurate, has better range, doesn’t have a delay/spin up time, better reload speed, Higher damage at any range, and any gun won’t delay your movement speed. Also the Minigun is the only time I’ve noticed bullets don’t register at times which makes it more ineffective

I destroy every minigun user with the bow all the time. That weapons is completely useless.
The only time I used it was to get the achievement for it and that was that.
