Fugitive Predator concept

Fugitive

*The fleeing Predator who led to the dissolution of Stargazer as a result of the 2018 incident.

Armor Style:
Default - Opening of film with armor in pristine condition

Fugitive - Post-crash with one gauntlet and damaged armor

This assumes Fugitive comes with the damaged helmet he uses to represent his post-crash state and the undamaged helmet to represent the helmet he has at the beginning of the film and the replacement he gains in the Stargazer lab.

New Weapon: Disk launcher

  • Disk launcher fires identically to the wrist launcher. The difference is that the disk fired has bleed applied to it and can fire through multiple targets. While the weapon only has an ammo count of 5 it (disks) can be retrieved.

New Gadget: Helmet mounted plasmacaster Cost - 6

  • Should Predator come under fire the plasmacaster mounted in the helmet will auto target the nearest enemy. This acts as a passive and so once selected it will act automatically. It should be noted however that shots are half as powerful as the standard plasmacaster fire and will drain energy as it auto targets. Shots fired drain energy equivalent to one uncharged plasmacaster. Energy overload caused by slams, ACIG, or EMP mine will deactivate the gadget.

Passives:

  1. Fugitive has increased energy to compensate for the helmet auto targeting
  2. Fugitive has increased movement speed in trees

Health: 3
Stamina: 3
Movement Speed: 4
Gear: 4 (12 points total)

Similar to City Hunter but faster.

For this concept I’m ignoring the shuriken as while Fugitive does use them in The Predator they’re also used by Scar and for the most part identical. So the early unlock should probably go to Scar since we know he’s somewhere in the pipeline and that unless they decide to have both early unlock shurikens the Shuriken will just be free to all players in a month or two anyways. Despite this if the player has shuriken equipped then 2 will be visible on Fugitive’s belt.

Helmet auto-targeting while can be a problem for Predators who just jump in and can potentially drain energy too quickly. For Berserkers and energy heavy Predators this helps keep Fireteam off Predator as it moves into melee range.

Don’t care much for the concept but your pizzas are fantastic.

Wolf also used shuriken during AVP:R

If we are going to add the helmet mounted PC I think it should be player controlled, and maybe it has auto targeting when equipped but not in use(like in the move).
The reason why I think the player should have control of it is because I believe it would act like a sniper rifle for the Predator.
While aiming with the mounted PC would act like a zoom feature for more accurate shots.

I like the fugitive

Not so much the plasma caster in the mask though but I like the idea of marking targets then initiating a barrage of plasma bolts

The disc launcher is much needed as are other wrist mounted weaponry such as

Burner

Razor nets

Rockets

Tracking darts

I think adding him should also introduce taking human shields against the heavily armored AI allowing the Predator to direct their fire towards FT and the other AI units

I like the idea of the sniper rifle. While it’s probably a result of the thing being fired inside a house an explosive effect could be applied while its being manually aimed. I don’t think it had a targeting laser either so it’d definitely keep fireteam in the lookout.

If I recall correctly the mask had a cannon on both sides of the mask. The one on the users left shot into the house (probably hitting something explosive), and the one on the users right shot the Upgrade Predator witch created an incendiary effect (could have been caused by igniting Upgrade’s “armor”)

I thought he shot detachable wrist blades things at the bus, not a disc

Also the wrist blades retracted all the way into the detachable gauntlets.

I think Fugitive has both

The disk is seen early in the film where Quinn ends up shooting it at the cloaked Fugitive. It’s the thing that slices one of Quinn’s buddies in half (the guy that got hung). It gets embedded in a tree so I presumed that Fugitive could’ve retrieved it.

Fugitive later shoots a blade at the bus. Not sure why he does both but the disk seemed like the easier option. The compartment for it sits inside the computer Rory later plays with.

Like the concepts, but it should probably be a Class Exclusive thing. Unless it becomes a thing for every class which then I dunno how that will work with Masks like Alpha or Samurai.

But I got Specializations:

Stargazer: Whenever in a Stargazer Outpost, gain Damage Resistance.

Outcast: Increased Damage towards Yautja, Decreased Damage towards Fireteam.

Prepared: Gain the benefits of Large Pouch without having to use the Perk. Does not stack with Large Pouch Perk.

Don’t like fugitive but you actually made me want the DLC lol. Good concept
