Predators was lazy a ton of cool idea, but never going deeper in and a lot of wasted potential. The concrete jungle who in therm of scenario is a deluxe Fanfictionwith cringy moment as still a better scenario than The predator, The predator is a big fuck you to the franchise, Shane blake have retained of Predator 1987 nothing but the 10 first minute with the jokes and action and its about and he turned the movie in a damn buddy movies, with fat sex jokes and stupid lore expansion (Autism pred, global warming and predator invation, the upgraded) and don’t try to argue that the movie have too many reeshoot, it wouln’t have changed a thing since Autism was part of the original plot as well as 2 predator IN MARINESUIT?! WTF?
Future Movies
The game wont affect future movies but the lore from the game will count. It’s also set in 2025 so by the time we get to a new film the game’s events wont be a problem either being either set before or will be after 2025 if not during it and nowhere near this.
The only thing in flux would be content that came out of Darkhorse because that’s going to be up to Marvel’s direction of the characters in the comics.
Elite team encounters new/unseen enemy in a war that they’re caught in the middle of. Team gets taken out one by one until the leader finds out what’s happening and then goes after the hunter reversing the predator/prey relationship. It wasn’t until the last 15-20 minutes of Predator 2 that we got any kind of lore expansion. Hell, the ENTIRETY of the AvP franchise is based off of an easter egg that the producers/director threw in as an easter egg. A joke that was in the movie for one scene spawned an entire spin off universe.
I’m not going to defend anything or make excuses. The Predator was shit but I love it. That being said I don’t want another movie like it. We got the action comedy predator movie. I want to see what else the franchise has to offer.

The next predator movie should be set in the future, sorta like what happened in the predator concrete jungle game. In the game, humans adapted the predators’ technology for themselves and used it to fight against the predators. The game had such a great storyline and I think it would translate well into a film.
Also, they need to make another Aliens vs Predator movie already. The first one was great, the second one was trash.
