Game are too short!!!!!!!

Why are the game parts so short. I killed 3 marines when the helicopter arrived. But the cutscene prevented me from finishing them. With a message the prey is escaped … The map is large, the game could be long if only it was well exploited. The predator’s gameplay is to be stealthy and patient. How little we can be since the marine rush the objective ??? 80% of players find the predator too weak. I tend to agree with them. In any case humans are too fast, they can heal very quickly, they have a huge firepower, ammo galore, redeployment of troop, the possibility of spot the predator (too easily) and see it through the walls. They can fire through the foliage while the plasma cannon is blocked by the foliage. Ground slam is useless, you use your energy bar and you cannot attack during a lapse of time (in this case you become even weaker). Apart from the combi stick (and again) and the plasma cannon the predator does not have much for him, the pigs the little you see them struggling to catch them because they run as fast as a cheetah. The big weak point of the game for me remains the duration of the games. If the game were even longer we could really exploit the predator. I’m not talking about recurring bugs that spoil the fun of playing or that simply kill a game. There is potential, the problem is that it is not exploited properly. However I like to play the game although the waiting time to find a game is endless.

I agree I’ve been playing a game less than 5 minutes. The loading screen takes 4 times the amount of gameplay

I honestly have to hold back most of the time and besides what’s the point of getting only 1000-2500 xp from a 5 minute game. I usually pick on off and they waste time to respawn and charged the canon to pick another 1 or 2 and now they can’t be respawned and wait until the last 2 minutes to kill the rest and I get 8000- 9000 XP

I agree. Most matches are too short. I think this is a balance of the fire team moving too fast, the map being small/underutilized and the Predator forced to attack in camps. There is a lot of unused environmental terrain in the map which makes the layout seem bigger but it’s only primarily used for the Predator to run from zone to zone when trees are too far apart to jump. When it comes to moment to moment gameplay between Predator and the fire team – these combat spaces often occur in the same areas, which are the camps or outskirts of camps. Predators always attack when the fire team is pre-occupied since they are not powerful enough to win in between camps on the jungle trails. I found a lot of matches where I was both Predator and fire team ended after 6-7 minutes of gameplay, or even sooner if choke points were exploited.

Personally I think a cool feature to include would be ways that the Predator can sabotage / hinder the Fireteam’s missions by interacting with certain things.

For example, the missions where a helicopter comes down to pick up a package the Predator should be able to shoot the helicopter which forces it to retreat and the Fireteam need to either A: be forced to subdue the Predator or B: need to deliver the pack some where the copter can pick it up at a safe distance.

Another example would be using a piece of tech that cuts the comms for Fireteam for a few minutes which stops them getting mission updates. Used maybe once each round. Obviously you’d need to be in a certain range and it should effect each Fireteam member individually. So if one is far away the other three are close only the three are affected and the remaining one gets mission updates (also promotes Fireteam communication).

I think ways the Predator can interact with Fireteam missions would he a great feature! Both for balancing and entertainment reasons.
