Game breaking lobby (mistaken for cheating)

Edit - since posting this thread the people I played with have reached out, and while it looked like cheats were employed from my perspective because of what happened it turns out it may well have been an epically bugged lobby, exacerbated by latency between matchmaking in Russia and Western Europe. It still warranted discussion, so I apologise unreservedly for making the worst case assumption. Original post below

so first up this isn’t the usual OMG HAX thread - I play PC and PS4 and this occurrence happened not 5 mins ago while playing PC.
I still don’t actually believe what I have just seen and I don’t know if this is an exploit or 3rd party hack software.

First off these guys started speaking to me in lobby and was a team of PC players - not bashing on PC here cause I play it myself but it makes the 3rd party software theory more believable.

The first guy asked how I was, the second guy started laughing and said “you’re dead” - so I took it as friendly pre-game banter and said lets have a GG.

I used target isolation and could see the FT… up in the air? I was thinking what the hell… So I get there in 1 minute 9 seconds of the start of the game and I get met with this.

The fireteam were on top of a roof they shouldn’t be on in the lumberyard. Look at the timer. Its impossible.

I was hit 3 times and my screen went black, I glitched to the floor as was in second wind. within 2 seconds the bar had almost emptied - they were laughing and actually let me go. I ran into the forest and as soon as I was healed and in stealth from across the map I had my biomask shot off from around 150-200m. My screen kept flashing black and the NPC’s were glitched.

I was asking them how they were doing this but was met with silence.

At this point I was so dumbstruck I started trying to get as many print screens as possible but I couldn’t get any decent screenshots. I was being chased in stealth by a guy with a knife and no matter where I ran I was caught.

I was downed again with 2 shots from behind foliage at the other end of the lumberyard from that rooftop and a the guy with the knife came in and put me down with 2 knife shots.

  • Names removed to protect identity.

To me there seemed to be obvious elements of aimbotting, wall hacks, invincibility, speed hacks, damage modification and maybe even no-clip with absolutely no attempt to even hide it. (This now seems to be due to a sync issue not hacks)

Rather than just cause a witch hunt, I am trying to bring this to the attention of illfonic so they can maybe pull a report on the match and identify how this was possible and what happened…

Fireteam have offered video evidence of their side, looks as if this was a glitched lobby that nobody had control of

I honestly wish I had recorded it, I didn’t even think of it but I could have used the windows game bar.

Seriously though - I am not the best Predator player but I know good from the impossible. I am usually the guy who is laughing at the “OMG HAX” threads - but I can say hand on heart this is the first and only time I have seen blatant cheats with no attempt to mask it.

I was that dumbstruck I was laughing all the way through.

I am just glad this is the only time I have seen it!

Your lvl 25, those guys knows the map and hitting the roof that early means they spawned in by the pile of tree logs and are snipers, get good.

I am level 89 on PS4.

This isnt a “get good” situation, if I was outplayed I was outplayed. This was blatant hacking and they didnt Deny it.

Look at the first screenshot you can clearly see all four fireteam members on the roof of a warehouse within 1 minute and 9 seconds of the start of the game.

Not only can you not get there as FT, but how the hell do you all get there within that timeframe?

It takes me 60 seconds without mudding up to hit that roof from the log spawn, which means these guys are experienced ft.

So its a private match…means they all have nothing better to do but to get on the roof and spam hit you. Thats all. nothing more. DONT PLAY PRIVATE MATCHES or you will get bum rushed like this.
Its not matter of objectives if they decided to do that. They were probably on comms too and spoke to each other of going to the roof.

Okay HOW?

There isn’t a way onto that roof?

Can you also explain the blackscreen glitches and 2 shot downs?
Can you explain being seen from across the map?

And can you explain this?

Buddha, its actually infuriating for me as I AM USUALLY YOU, as soon as I see a thread about hacks I make the pre-judegement that its some whining kid.

I am just trying to put it out there that this exists.

Without a video it is very much a “you had to be there moment” or you wouldn’t believe it.

I had same situation on this map with snipers, may be same ppl. But I don’t think it’s cheats, too many buildings have ways to the roof, may be even all of them I didn’t checked it. But I seen with my eyes (while being FT) how some people jumped on the roofs as I think before unreachable for people.

So how many games has this happened? 1? Ive played 8days worth of hours. Haven’t met with any of this. So how does 1 game need more attention than 1000? I’m not doing the math correctly either.
So within this 2 minutes of gameplay of butt hurt…is it worth to tell the world about your 2 minutes of your life lost?

Right ok - I have played the game since day one on PS4 mate and I am level 89.
Its not bullshit and I am starting to think that this is just becoming a troll for you now.

Maybe this aspect of getting on that roof isn’t a cheat and its a creative way of getting up there - I will concede that. but the other stuff doesn’t add up.

I have been a PC gamer for 20 years, you cant pull the shots off I just saw. I wasn’t even in line of sight. I know what hack behaviours look like I saw them in CS over and over again.

Its undeniable, theres a difference between good and the stuff these guys were capable of. it was impossible within the mechanics of the game.

There was interference with the game itself - I don’t have a video and I wish I did but I was glitched with a blackscreen and teleported more than once. (no it wasnt lag either - I wasn’t bungee corded)

No predator goes down with 3 shots in around 5 seconds twice no matter how good you are.

Believe what you like I know what I saw. I too have seen so many “cry wolf” threads I assumed it would be met with the usual denial so cool.

Obviously my eyes need to “get good”, my internet needs to “get good” and you’re all fucking pro and are an authority on these things.

You’ve played it since day one and say your lvl 89 but ok i see lvl 25 but also you didnt know you could climb the roof lol ok mate.

blackscreen and teleported-
teleported means something is not up with your connection (usually is a red zig zag icon) .
teleported meaning your character pops in to a few steps from before- means your VCard is having issues.
blackscreen----not entirely sure about this…its probably CPU issues. I would look into your graphics settings right away if any of this is happening on public matches too.

Simple. Not everybody speaks English. Oftenly they know 2-3 phrases to troll somebody and this is all they know, so more complicated question was sileneced. This is not proof they were cheating. I’m agree this is confusing and no fun but they was premade team, what did you expected - park walking?
