Hi guys,

This is an informative post for anyone that’s had the following errors in their crash logs (located under %userprofile%\AppData\Local\SpaceFish\Saved\Crashes):

Or anything similar to this.

The cause for me was having redirected folders configured in my lab at home where folders were redirected to a server on the network so it was like \server\redirectedfolders\user\documents

After turning off my group policy redirected folders it launched just fine (as in setting Documents directory back to %USERPROFILE%\Documents).

FYI Steam’s version works fine with redirected folders, it’s just the Epic Games version that doesn’t.
