I feel like this latest patch was kinda unnecessary. The game already felt pretty balanced to me before this patch.
However, I don’t feel like the patch completely broke the game or anything. I still managed to win most of my matches today.
I’m excited to fight the fireteam with their new toys tomorrow!

Oh trust me i know. As pred im losing maybe 20% of my games. (At least pre patch). Which is not good. However it does not take away from the fact that both ends of that % have to do with shitty game balance.
In which case. Regardless of your snarky ass remark. The discussion of game balance has needed to be truly had for months. And yet the devs are just sitting by and taking obscure ideas with absolutely no idea how to fit those pieces into the puzzle. And making the already shoddy balance worse.

If you’re going to complain about something. Complain about the fact that this thing hasn’t seen any infusion of content (Sorry, fanboys. Character models with price tags don’t count.) or any sort of optimization since its release. The performance is still all over the place on PC. It runs even worse since the last few patches. It’s practically a slide show on PS4 judging by the streams i have seen. How about a matchmaking/lobby system that isn’t absolute shit?! Most people are playing FT because some of us have lives and don’t want to endlessly fucking queue for one measly Pred match. You already have a fix for it that’s present in private matches. So, why is that absent from public matches?
Their incompetent, yo yo balancing act should be the least of your concerns. This game’s got far more glaring and pressing issues. It’s practically dead on PC. Thanks to a lack of a PC population in general and thanks to toxic PS4 players turning off crossplay.

Pred queue is not gonna go down unless the player base increases for FT. That’s why they shifted the focus. So Preds now will have lower queue but they’ll complain is not so easy to win (it still is easy).
FT is shit. No matter how much people here say they are OP. They are not. Go into a match with 3 randoms and you will most likely lose.
Is a premade team OP? Yes. And that’s how is supposed to be. People here don’t seem to get that. Is 4 people, 4 thinking minds trying to outsmart ONE. Not to mention that most “good” Preds are one trick ponnies that once you face them, you know what to expect. No matter how much you nerf FT, the only ones who get hurt are the randoms. Premade communicating FT will adapt and outsmart you almost always.
The game balance is precisely to keep randoms around so Pred queues go down. Premade teams will likely start to venture out if they start to win all the time… Exactly what happens with a lot of good Preds out there who constantly request private matches with good Fire Teams because they are bored of toying with their food.
Its quite funny how much predators complain when they finally take a hit in any area… FT got nerfed every single patch (even now even if they also got some new stuff).
The balance is in the PRED favor in the majority of games because unless you have a good team with 4 people and outside coms you’'re nowhere close to being powerful as FT.
Every time James Cameron tries to be a guiding light in these dark days of no content and patches that break more than they fix he is continually under appreciated. This is why you may never be worthy of the Cameron edition of the game with 20 maps and 4 modes and zero bugs.
James Cameron despairs at these threads. For big strong alien hunters you pred players sure do cry a lot. Most updates have been pred orientated. Let the FT have this. Adapt and overcome and get those skulls.
Most importantly remember that there is a massive surplus of preds in the queue and if you don’t give the FT a reason to keep playing then those queues will become unbearably long.

How are us ps4 users the toxic ones? When pc players are the ones cheating by lowering their graphics just to see predator when he’s cloaked that’s toxic if you ask me.
This is too true. Got mowed down in seconds yesterday by a ft of 4 all armed with the pdw who basically pulled a bitch move and trapped me in a small house. I play more ft than pred about 40% pred but now it’s not even fun to play as pred so it’s going to 0% until changes are made to MAKE PREDATOR GREAT AGAIN.
Wow I completely forgot about those, forget what I said about that then. Still there shouldn’t be perks that make you deal more damage to either side both FT and Pred.

Get a grip. Why should PS4 players using controllers want to compete with people using a superior mouse/keyboard setup, and that’s before you get to the issue of people adjusting their graphics for ‘performance’ reasons. Everything no matter how trivial is supposedly ‘toxic’ these days.
