Game mode ideas!

Posted this before but I’ll try again in hopes Illfonic sees it and realises that the games current structure will never keep a playerbase. Predator is too lonely and fireteam is too straightforward. Also games are far too quick

A lot of people are struggling with queue times and that they think games are too short or shouldn’t have a timer. I think an additional game mode for more people would be great, and adding a survival or king of the hill style mechanic to this mode could make for a much better gameplay loop.

Larger game preserve style maps from predators 2010

Two predators work together to kill fireteam members and possibly also to try to hunt the predalien abomination or AI xenomorphs

Fireteam members are split into team A and B, who both have varying objectives across the map, all of which must be completed for them to extract.

No timer, you join and if you wipe the other team out you can choose to stay in the lobby with limited resources and await more fireteams + AI alien prey.

A lot of people on the subreddit are into the idea! :) I really think there is an audience for this larger scale multiplayer mode!

Thanks for reading, and if anyone from Illfonic is reading thanks for making a really great predator game. The foundation here for an awesome experience is really good, looking forward to future content.

Good ideas, but tbh atm any new game mode besides competitive would do.

-Two predators work together to kill fireteam members and possibly also to try to hunt the predalien abomination or AI xenomorphs - well its 87 themed game not avp and if there will be 8 or more ft team 3 hunter can be ‘’ like ‘’ avp 2010 game i was thinking same but never mention it 4 against 1 with last update some more harder but not impossible a predator team like at avp 2004 hunter (known as scar) celtic (leader) and chopper can be funny but probably ft gamers gonna complain (as usual)
-Timer is keeping the rush so adrenaline like on movie (87) they was trying to reach to choppa so understandable but sometime i wish to linger more :)

2 soldier team fighting each other ? for what its not like so called super predator (2010) vs lesser predator (which we have here and know first) make no sense there are mindless gerilla’s around
its not quick arena… dont forget its 87 themed game dont expect much…

Team A : spec ops team

Team B : bad guys

Could have team defence games with hostages as objectives ( for example )

Just like the scene from the 1st movie …

Just have a predator player thrown in also

Ammm idea kinda cool
But…
You know they can go troll and team up to kill pred?
I remember old times of AVP 2010 demo multiplayer where was only deatmatch
Every Marine team up and try kill Xenomorphs or Predators

I think that allowing the players to make decisions like that ( such as joining forces ) gives way to different narratives, which is a good thing imo

There have been times when I’ve loaded into a lobby with just me and a predator and I’ve suggested teaming up and it works lol

Maybe a 4v4v3 that might balance it out some? 3 bein the predators then it might also help with pref que times

Personally @NotCybercat?? Just give us a Horde Mode where it’s just us, the Predator, against increasingly difficult AI Grunts. For fun, give us a Healing Kit every 5 Levels.

Or swap Predator with Fireteam. Done!!
