Game sure doesn't seem dead to me

I play often on ps4 and I almost always have full lobbies. I have lots of fun. Hopefully, others are too. It seems that about 5 people keep claiming the game is dead, but it seems to be fine. But these people should stop claiming its dead over and over. Because if enough people read such things, it may die, and then we’ll all be sad. There probably won’t be another/better Predator game for a long time, so we’d better play the shit outta this one. Glitches and bugs suck, yes, we all know, but can we please try to actually be helpful with our feedback? These people are still working remotely, so conditions are certainly sub-par for the devs. How about it? Can we as a gaming community be a little better as a whole? I think so.

We need more game modes and fast. Overall a faster turnaround of content, regardless of the current situation

Yeah i agree, its those angry anti-social, incel, suicidal ass holes who keep popping into this forum trying to dish out propoganda to destroy this gaming community. I hate them, and I had enough of them.
I ban them by looking at the forum ID then, setting their status to Ignored.

Such as?

I doubt, for the time being at least, that there will be faster turnaround time for stuff. There is certainly more stuff coming and I hope its great. (@Courier @OldKingHamlet Pirate predator, dang it!). More modes, yes. Bad blood or super preds for sure. But let’s try and be patient and not a giant bag of 🍆s (we’re all guilty once in a while).

You had ideas, right?

Of course just curious about yours

I love 🍆 once in a while. Its got good fibre.

Dead no, on the decline yes unless major improvements is made for the holiday update.

Got on for a few rounds this afternoon. Wait times between 3-5 mins and got into full lobbies. Some intense battles, lost a couple by a narrow margin (last FT hiding and getting to the chopper while I rip his friend’s head off)

Certainly not dead (apart from that FT of course)

Yeah. That about sums it up.

Predator is owned by Disney. This won’t die.

Arnold also himself is with the project.

The only reason this game will fail is if people want it to fail. I personally don’t want to wait another 10 years for a Predator game.

I’m gonna ride this for the long haul and if folks don’t want to thats okay. Move on then instead of taking stuff personally :)

it’s dead in the sense that nobody has a reason to play it, but they do anyways because it’s one of their favorite franchises

when i say it’s dead i mean there is no purpose to playing it other than complaining about the bugs for most people

i will also support this game for as long as i can, but currently- it is dead content wise

I always get good match time, but I’m taking a one month break for the moment the last time I played was like November 15.

Its only dead if we stop playing and talking shit about it. Constructive criticism is the best thing for it. I hate crashes, etc, we all do, but keep a little optimism. Theres more content on its way. Patience, young Padawan.

I take breaks for a few days once in while too. Breaks can be healthy, let you gather your thoughts and come back fresh.

Disney infinity died and that was a great thing. They were just hitting their stride too when Disney pulled the plug. Granted, Disney had a lot more on the line to lose than a single indi-developed title, but Disney thinks in $ signs. If we want to keep playing predator games, we have to, you know, support them. If this game looks to be a money loser, Disney will probably pull the plug, but if we keep it positive, keep coming up with good, useful feedback and keep playing, it’ll only get better.

I also play a number of ubisoft titles and I can say from personal experience that positive feedback and requests work. I very reasonably asked for fixes in ghost recon wildlands to its Predator content and it came. Same with Native American character customizations. I asked nicely, over and over, never being a jerk, and it showed up. Was it all me? Of course not, I’m nobody. But enough people did the same thing and it got better. The same can happen here. GR Breakpoint is another example. Tons of feedback from a bug-ridden game at launch and now its fantastic.
Let’s keep our hunting parties on the right path.

Thats what I have been trying to do since the beginning. Create positivity and allow it to become the pred game we wanted, if the original piece wasn’t it.

It will become what we make of it :)

I wish I had the certainty of the people claiming that this game is dead or dying, I mean like about anything else. I understand the hyperbolic nature of forums and I don’t really take those posts as anything other than natural fauna in this environment. It’s good to see that they’re passionate about something and I dig their energy even if it is misdirected.

Point taken. The issue with this is that the negativity here can really affect the game itself. Passion, if misdirected will backfire and destroy the users probable intended purpose of their comments. If someone new reads all these ‘dead game’ posts, they may decide never to play it and tell others the same. Ive seen it happen with Avengers. Now I’ve not played Avengers yet, but I hear the SP mode is robust, so its on my list. The MP portion maybe being not too hot isn’t going to deter me, but it already has deterred many others. Let’s try not to let that happen here. Let’s all celebrate what we love about it. Loud n proud, yo!
