Game time solution, along with other ideas.

Great patch guys not a single complaint, the game is looking so much better on both sides. Predators are hunting more efficiently and fire teams are still able to win. I’ve had a few observations and counter solutions for you I hope you like them.

Firstly I’ve seen people saying games aren’t lasting long enough and this is true, it takes longer to find a game as a predator than it does to end the match regardless of what team wins.

This isn’t meant as a complaint, I understand there are a lot of people that want to play as the predator and this creates long wait times. I have a few theories I hope you’ll consider for future patches that I think will help solve multiple issues.

The games end time is more than adequate to sustain an enjoyable experience, however it’s length is seldom utilized due to a few issues.

One being the fire team not having enough to do so they finish their objectives too quickly and call a helicopter before the game reaches halfway mark.

Two being the predator finding all fire team members bunched together with no reason to separate forcing the game to come to an end one of three ways. The predator kills the group, the fire team kills the predator, or escapes. Resulting in a short game.

My suggestion is fairly simple. More fire team missions required before escape is possible, fire team missions must force members to split up thus ensuring the predator can’t find all of them quickly utilizing the clock, with reinforcements, mud, and teamwork the game is still very winnable for both teams.

Creating a 2nd game mode of any kind off line or online will cut wait times by 25% reliably and provide new content to draw not only new interest but old interest previously lost upon a rough release.

Other ideas: Smart disk really does need a damage buff and distance buff to compensate for being forced to stand defenseless while in use. Nerf FT spot ability let’s get the pred in the same football field without being spotted, buff mud effect duration if the changes I suggest are added then the fireteam will need mud along with other tricks such as land mines and the ability to catch leaves on fire for a period of time, buff wrist blades, add a razor whip for predator, add a snare trap for predator, add throwing star for predator, vision modes: tek vision for spotting FT objectives and FT traps, tracker vision to show footprints of FT and boar plus the direction traveled and how long ago they were made.

I don’t suggest any changes in the hopes of them making me better, or making any class easier to play, I genuinely want the game to feel more immersive so I can experience the real fear of a fire team member being hunted by the predator, and experience the true thrill of the hunt as a predator. I love playing both classes and would love for them to play their part realistically to what they are.
