Well now Iām triggered lol, nah I love that movie faults and all even the sequel. Only thing I had a problem with were the human characters, most were just annoying with a few stand outs here and there unlike The Predator in which I hated nearly every aspect of that movie.

So hear me on a few female character youāve mentioned.
They exist but thatās kinda it.
I loved Lex Woods on multiple levels because sheās not another white female character in a movie, Iām not white so when done well, its nice. She was done nicely but its AvP and honestly she doesnāt belong in a commando group in PHG, lets be honest. Sheās not a shooter. I would love a cameo though.
2010 Preds movie - the fact that I canāt remember her name is a start. Sheās a blank character who has her moments. Sheās a sniper lady with a gun. She was huge missed opportunity and at one point Royce became the knight in armor saving them both which insults the female characters who are trying break the mold.
Pred 2 - Leona - Its the 90s, she had a small role until the movie didnāt need her. While she was a tough cookie until the movie showed Pred ethics, after that itās like, more couldāve been done. Unfortunately they did not.
The Pred franchise as much we all love it has tried and not tried to produce a Ripley. And has not come close everytime.
Also Machiko - Female human Pred - Her story? Eh her story is not great and in the beginning of her story of it was god awful. Yeah her image and fan art is great but you sit and read her chapter and its a big let down definitely interesting bits but her? Big let down.
Side note - STOP TRYING TO BANG THE PREDS

I think the movies have always portrayed women fine, apart from the predator, not my space animal Olivia munn was mind numbing.
Anna when it came to it tried to help and protect Dutch and his team, she picked up a gun a couple of times and even went to get Dutch help.
leona was a streetwise cop who could hold her own in a streetwar and helped Mike put pieces together on what was going on.
issabelle was an expert marksman that tried to make the group stick together and covered their asses many times, saving a couple.
the avp universe did women justice aswell, lex basically was blooded and the Ripley clone in avp2. I donāt see peopleās gripes
What I want is a predator culture exploring movie crossed with colonial marines. Xenomorphs barely even have to have a role just subtle hints. The avp movies should never have been done without colonial marines included
