Gear bug

So I had this problem 3 times yesterday:
I have my knife equipped and wether its the grenade or syrette ill use one and if the predator jumps in on me right after using a gear I start to swing on em (R2) but instead of attacking it acts as if I’m pressing R1 and makes me waste my grenades/syrettes. Just started doing that after the hotfix. Again it only happens if right after I use one and have to attack while the knifes equipped. Anyone else have that problem?

So, to be clear:

Select an item
Use said item
Equip knife
When you engage with the predator and use the equipped knife as a weapon (as opposed to quick melee), when you press R2, it just uses the same item again

Is this what is happening to you? And does this happen consistently (like, every time), or occasionally?

Yes correct. And so far id say everytime but I will be playing tonight and can see if it continues. It happened to me 3 times with in 2 matches yesterday. I’m not sure what’s triggering it tho. It happens if I use a gear and the predator engages me immediately after using said gear, but if he engages say 10-15 seconds after using the gear it doesn’t happen.
