General feedback and requests about the game, certain model/visual issues, few bugs, future ideas and a plea to certain long expected content.

Hello there fine specimens,

I need to touch on few things and can only hope it gets to the right eyes, or at least fruits something productive.
So far things I’ve noticed when coming back to the game once again:

Scars first default and classic skin patterns are the same, has classic pred head, but default game hunter body, also he has missing facial hair/spikes.
As a matter of fact almost all of the preds seem to be missing facial hair/spikes, which should be implemented for authenticity and difference in the models
Wolf(Super preds and others) skin pattern are also missing the default stripped patterns and have his authentic ones but in different colours from the classic, not added as the classes authentic ones(City Hunter for reference), but as classic/default.
Have not checked on other DLCs or do not own them in order to give info on them.
The Hunting Party seem to not have it sectioned properly and no default game pattern stripes implemented either. But realistically they are Super Preds, so it is not that big of a deal. They have their own patterns.
The Captured pred is done flawlessly regarding skin patterns, there are small clipings here and there with the net. Also in thermal vision he looks very low detailed and should be fixed, net is missing.
The City Hunter, one of your best DLCs also needs a bit polishing for the same net reason. Take Scar in thermal vision for example, or some of the other DLCs, who almost perfect, only some net parts missing in the armpit area noticeable in Scar, could maybe be polished.

Also all 3 of the AvP Movie: Scar, Chopper and Celtic have their nets cliping with armor or body, Celtic has the least I think, not sure.
Their skin patterns are okay, only Scars is not implemented properly.
All 3 of their shoulder cannons cause clipping and end game scene looks bad, maybe it should be adjusted a bit on the side and centered in order for it to make sense and look good, right now it pretty much brushes or goes through against their masks/face, not to mention that is not the actual design how their plasma casters work, in the real concept they are close to City Hunters design, which on another note activates on ADS/laser and tucks back without it, it works the same way for the 3 of them and the older characters, on some of the newer preds(Wolf for reference) it gets in combat mode as soon as you switch to the weapon, regardless of laser aiming or not, as it should be, so all around we experience much unfinished stuff and inconsistency.
While on the topic, the laser dots on the player models masks are visually always on, even if we are not actually using them, the plasma casters or the laser guidance.
It would be really cool if we are able to select different vision modes for the loadout, based on the ones we’ve seen so far in movies! :)

I’ve noticed 2 places that lack predator jump pathing on small cliffs on two different maps, one headquarters and one on overgrowth, there are probably others too.
Also on one of the buildings on Derailed, there seems to be an “invis wall” that prevents you from moving without jumping on top of it. On that note, the Leap indicators are registering for jumps that cannot be made from certain positions and vectors, thus resulting in “collision jumps” with trees, rocks, objects or steps, so we just leap in place.

The Smart disk bugging and being unplayable unless you pick the other thrown discs is still a present bug.

When trident is thrown and picked up, it says combistick is picked up.
Also Trident should be merged as a variant of Combistick, no point it being a separate weapon.

Thrown melee weapons are not highlighted if you leave the area, move certain range away, after certain time passes or something.
Combistick is not displayed on the map at all, sometimes loses the close range icon indicator, sometimes it does not, the Trident loses both close range and map indicators, have not tested how consistent.

The eye glow effect when switching on/off thermal vision in cloak does not work on all of the preds/masks, outside of Default/Jungle Hunter/Elder/Alpha, I think. The eye glow effect outside of cloak seems to be entirely removed from the game.

After jumping predlocks start to jiggle non stop, the air physics don’t stop.

Regarding Weapons and lack of:

The Eye of Ra weapon is absolutely useless, as it is worse than the plasma pistol, also it should be merged as a variant, not a separate weapon, damage needs to be increased above plasma pistol in order for this weapon to make sense the way it is built.

The long awaited Shuriken, is still not made, we’ve talked about it years ago and it was a natural nobrainer step in the predator weapon kit.
We have both Scar (and his brothers), Fugitive and Wolf, who make use of it. It should be implemented as a variant of the Smart Disk.

Wolfs lasermines or trap mines from the wolf kit should be implemented in some form, they could be a variant of bear traps for balance, instead of being a separate weapon.

The many times mentioned iconic Whip should also be implemented in the weapon arsenal as melee.

Chopper is missing his iconic dual scimitars, which definitely should be added as a melee weapon, the Super preds do have it instead of the usual wrist blades, in their case they could be enlarged a bit for authenticity, better looks and made in steel color, not so rusty, also missing the proper design look.
The Scimitars are well known and used in the pred verse and they do not replace the mandatory wrist blades, outside of the Super Preds.

Regarding the other DLCs, I can think of a ton of different weapons that could be tied to their concepts, but the core Pred fans most likely do not care as much about noncanon stuff.

Regarding pred player model(same concept should be applied to Fireteams too, weapons on back or even better gun slungs, pistol holsters, etc.) and quality of detail.

Weapons should be put on the player model with the usual weapon switch animations.
Combistic or other melees on the back. Same can be done for the bow/bolt gun.
Smart disc on the side of the leg like the City hunter, also plasma pistol holster on the side of the leg, in case they are both equipped, they can be holstered on both legs independently.
Other idea is just like bear trap, mines to be put on the belt or lower back as they are usually seen, Shuriken for reference.
Wolf has a mine belt across the body for instance, others can have them strapped on their front belt, lower back.
The iconic whip can also be strapped/holstered in circle on the thigh, as it is shown.

Regarding Fireteam content, the forums are once again spammed with core ideas, concepts or characters. I’m personally more than satisfied with them. More interesting missions or well asked characters could be awesome for the Human mains! Which also leads us to the next part.

Maps/Game modes:

There should be a city map, “deadlands” desert map, hell maybe break the ice (pun intended, snowy/Icy map) and give us outer space predator map, exfill with spaceships :D
Or Predator spaceship map, where exfill is getting off after breaking it on the inside/gather info or equipment, etc.
Not every map should be tree/jungle based as you already had those kind of ideas.

A different mode should be implemented as well. Tons of ideas on the forum.
A 2v8 is a nobrainer, make the preds sweat or fireteams get demolished/picked one by one.
Or even better, some sort of single player/campaign/missions.
The Clash one is clearly not scratching much itch.
Ranked modes have been mentioned for people willing to push stats and be competitive.
Plus it gives different experience for the newbies, low skillcaps and better players, with each in their category.
Some sort of Timed Respawn modes with Points can be done.
Capture the “flag” sieging/chasing or something.
Protect/Escort the Vip, and so on.
Steal/Destroy Pred equipment… etc…
On other thought, not sure if you’re aware there are some 20 year old games still holding strong because of their communities effort, talent and dedication. Giving the tools to the community for modding or building maps/modes would increase the games lifespan, not to mention it will help to add so much flair to it overall and some people can come up with masterpieces. Let alone other people will do your job for you, free of charge.
You can easily add surveys through the game and ask us on such hard topics, which will require a ton of work, so people can decide what is more desired and hopefully sustainable in the long run.

The AI should be improved, having so much machine learning and AI trainers, AI generation and so on, just makes your work simpler in every aspect.

Attention to detail and staying true to the core is the way to go, plus adding the usual variations that all successful games do to break boredom and repetitiveness.
Quality > Quantity!
Quality assurance needs to step up.
Attention to detail and effort do matter!
This is what makes the game differ from a mobile game and give peoples imagination and well established concepts thrive in the hands of players.
People will not pay for half made content, that gets polished and worked on (in the best case scenario) until the next rushed release.
This simply drives people away from the product.
Sadly I know this is becoming a standard in the game field.
If you’re worried with licensing on content, just do what CoD or Battlefield have been doing for ages… you could easily give the players what they want, even if it is named differently or tweaked to look a tiny bit different.

Better late, than never!

I know the game team is highly overworked, there are a ton of other things/games you need to think about.
I know the game is not currently doing great, plus not being highly profitable.
But this game can be the masterpiece we truly deserve, there is nothing else to come even close to it in the Predator franchise.
Staying true to the core lore and well regarded implementations in the Predverse, plus polished quality is the adequate foundation to build on.
Also make sure to advertise and get affiliate marketing goin within the pred communities/subcultures (and not only), any new Pred or AvP movie will pull more players.
If the quality they pay for is there, there will be higher player base, not so console dominant.
Don’t neglect this amazing thing you’ve built!

Game optimization and code:
Some things really need to be mentioned and addressed!
Regarding PC players, maxing your GPU in almost all menus, as well as in the lobby waiting room makes no sense and should be fixed, I don’t know what background processing is going on to make that, maybe add a feature for simple screenshot background menus, not 3d rendering animation or whatever always running in the background.
As we know the game is on the demanding side, even tho its waaaaaay better optimized nowadays it still handicaps people with weaker PCs from playing it, if there is a way, maybe to have it run under DX10 for older GPU users or something else to be done for such target groups.
Keep in mind that for plenty PC users that is actually the cause they don’t purchase or play the game, thus further tanking the player/payer base.

Some important settings/mechanics for quality of life could be done as well, of the top of my head some would be:
Higher threshold for in flight sensitivity (controlled projectile).
Having a secondary bind for the the same action!
Having Select weapon 3 bind for knife is pretty mandatory!
Autorun not canceling on second tap would be awesome, since it auto cancels on crouch/slide or stop movement or colliding with wall/object (which also should be fixed).
The predators stealth dismount/jumping off of branches/trees should be either reworked mechanically or made a single tap, since it is kind of a pain to deal with mechanic.
Advanced character information with all its implemented features: Regen, increase/decrease damage type, health/energy and all the usual stats.
Weapon damage for preds etc.
Humans being social creatures and being limited to only voice communication is somewhat of an issue, although it has it benefits, having team chat (not all for obvious reasons) would benefit for positive experiences, team coordination and communication, future friendships, more engagement etc.

And the usual, open all field locker feature, as well as specifying number to buy boxes in bulk! :)

If you need me to provide more adequate info, testing, videos, pictures or develop further on things aforementioned, please let me know!

Thank you for giving us this game, and please do not let us down!

Thank you for giving me the time and effort to go through this huge wall of text and frustration/hope!

Best of wishes!

Ah for once I was exited to see the reply to this 😂 …but for real dude I learned off being here for a couple of months that these game Devs are very “independent” (cash grabbers) …so basically good luck with even getting a hold of them with all of this feedback let alone one of the points 😅
