Best movie I’ve seen for a very long time.
So many little references towards the other movies, that I’m asking myself if the Wolf Trophy was a reference to this game.

Okay so. Time to review. First off short of it.
This movie was fantastic, almost worth waiting 30 years for it. This is the true Predator 3. 8/10, easily in the Top 3. I don’t like it as much as Predator 2 but honestly I might like it more than Predator 1 but for now it is getting the 3rd Place. We’re fucking winning.
Anyway. This film was excellent. The writing was really fucking good, SOMEHOW, and it was shot really well. Maybe a few too many cuts in the action but honestly nowhere near as bad as you’d expect from Hollywood.
I’m gonna say it. Naru is fucking great, holy shit. We actually got a Struggler, we got a Failure Hero, They somehow managed to write a good, compelling female protagonist. Unfuckingheard of in modern movies. She eats shit & she has plenty of flaws. She learns in real time & improvs over the movie. Actually really did like her, not as much as Harrigan but its Harrigan it’s hard to top him or anything in P2 honestly, but yeah no I’m gonna say she is way more of a compelling protagonist than we’ve had in the past years for either Alien or Predator. She’s good, a real Struggler.
Feral is probably my favourite since Wolf, honestly if he was a Pureblood and not a new Subspecies, he might have even been my new favourite Movie Pred. This dude fucks all of his kills are great and the way he moves is beautiful. I just wish he looked like City & Jungle face wise but aside from that this dude is a fucking chad.
The plot was surprisingly good. Like they did a good job here, it is the classic Underdog formula and doesn’t pretend to be anything more. Its not deep, its not spouting some philosophical bullshit. This is just a solid action movie and does what it set out and doesn’t try to be any more than that. Well fucking done to the writers, they can’t be regular Hollywood twerps because this is way fucking better than anything in the mainstream for the past decade.
What a good movie, really well done. Predator is back baby.

He was the greatest hunter among them because he knew how it worked while everyone else blew their own head off, as we have now witnessed under several accounts. He is the greatest threat after all lel

Shane Black was playing 4D chess and the world isn’t ready to accept his masterpeice yet.

The autistic kid can turn off their suicide power limiters.
And the preds using melee are the one’s scared of accidentally killing themselves.

All their tracking stuff is prone to self harm and only the autistic kid knows how to mash buttons better than them, hence he is the greatest threat and they left him an iron man suit to fix because they have no idea wtf to do with it.
Tech is all stolen and they buttonmash as a rite of passage dropped off by pred uber.
