I’ve noticed that, and I greatly commend them for it. Last night I had several teams with at least one Dante, spamming PDLs and Recon/Tracker on me. Honestly those don’t bother me, I’ll engage either way, but jesus its annoying, and your window to inflict damage is very small. It works, but because its cheap.

I knowwwww. I used to get called one of the best PS players and was being begged for matches left and right by teams and people that weren’t even on my radar. All people do is measure hot dogs with yard sticks, it just doesn’t end. The whole reason I stepped down and fuckin’ quit was the goddamn clout contests.

Now yeah, I’m good, I used to be great, but I’m not and never was the best, no one is and ever will be, or at least not until they’re the last player on this game. Regardless, throwing titles out like that only leads to arguments and haughty charlatans claiming to be the best despite running the meta and abusing broken mechanics. Meanwhile you’ve got humble players running the absolute worst or at the very least underrated builds making all kinds of waves but remaining humble and quiet.

It’s all clout and it’s all it’s ever going to be. Left that circus and I ain’t going back

I’ve never understood the need for clout for such a shit game. AAA titles like Fortnite, COD, sure, I can understand. But this game is literally, I’ve seen it, bargain bin trash. Its fun, it has its moments, but its an absolute mess of a product, and why people want to dick measure with it is beyond me.

I’m very, very happy to be at the skill level I am now. I’ve faced some of the toughest players, like the Voodoos (beaten them twice), some of the Apples (couldn’t get much damage but they didn’t kill me either), Outlaw and LukeSkywhiskers (almost had Max one round, got him on another, ran into both of them and got sniped), and I know there are even better players out there that would wreck me. But I can hold my own. Point being, I know where I’m at skill wise, and I don’t go flaunting it around, and honestly nobody should. Its a shit game, your clout means nothing, and it just makes you look cocky. Its bad form all around.

Absolutely agreed , I like not being known for being good , I don’t get clout chasers cuz I ain’t good and I’m thankful for that . I have a blast every time my friends kick my butt and I have no animosity about it . I have as much fun if not more than most cuz that validation stuff don’t bother me
