I’m not telling people how to play Rey, I’m just telling it’s ridiculous when they post videos saying FT SLAIN!!! and all they do is shooting them point blank with the plasma caster and they act like pros. Also you forgot to mention that while you are standing still and spam the Caster Gun you are still completely invisible so things kind of even out, and sure ping is important but then again who cares when you have unlimited ammo with almost no trackability ?

Sam, there’s plenty of deadly Preds out there that can wipe out premade teams in chat in a matter of minutes with just Bow, Smartdisk and sometimes Combi or Axe, Plasma just feels desperate, as fireteam I can tolerate it being used later in the game or if they are losing but if they start spamming right away it’s noobsville and we know it, just sayin’.
But you are telling people how to play when you’re saying if you use plasma you’re a noob, desperate, dishonorable. You’re saying the way you play by not attacking netted players, or using these other weapons is more skillful and better.
If a FT let’s you get away with shooting them point blank with plasma then that’s on them. Also what’s the difference between hopping with the handheld and shooting up close than the bow when one has eight shots in a mag before reloading and the other has 30. Both require the same amount of skill to use in such a way.
When using the caster you have a literal marker indicating where you are. If you have dithered lens then you are sacrificing a perk slot for a niche perk that’s only effective during the day and after the first shot. The caster and handheld are both incredibly loud and easy to track.
Who cares about ping if you have unlimited ammo? What kind of argument is this? All the ammo in the world won’t help you if you can’t even land your shots. Plasma only works with the first shot since like I said before is incredibly loud and gives away your position. If you don’t make it count, your next shot will hurt.

A sniper that can take off the mask in 2 shots and sw a pred In like 8 shots inst cheap? Or nades that take 25% of pred hp isnt cheap?
What about the ft splitting up and shooting from multiple angles or one running to do the the mission while others distract?
What about killing the pred while he eats a boar or heals? Or shooting the pred while hes healing when he literally can’t move or fight back?
And what about the fact that ft is literally nothing but bullet spam? Which has way more dps that pred does?
Also in the first movie jh just kept blasting away at groups.
Given the state of the game, plasma isnt cheap.

You are telling people how to play. By saying “do this”, you are influencing your play style onto others. Instead, maybe say “try this”, as it give people an option. Also, point-blank plasma spam is typically the best way to eliminate a FT member up close. you see it all the time, typically in a 1v1 situation. Its an effective strategy.
This is wrong. Pistol requires an absurd amount of skill, comparable to the bow. You have to track your opponent, anticipate their path, and there is a delay in fire as its a projectile, like the bow. The only difference is there is no charge for the shot, unlike the bow on PS5 where for some dumb reason there is a delay on R2 for firing, but you can change that in button config.
Does shit damage since it was nerfed, not a valid strategy.
FTs will not be scared of a motion detector and still hide in the building, and they can see and shoot traps. Even if they don’t they won’t leave to trigger them. The only effective means of countering this is plasma.

They use it because its either Preds win or FT wins, and in this shitty game where DPS rules, you use what you have. Its also lore accurate to use the PREDATOR’S MAIN WEAPON.
Also you have a three-second window to turn completely invisible while moving. An intelligent player will hear you long before you stop moving and will engage you, and even if you are invisible, they will find you.
And thanks to Max’s video I can see you really, REALLY have no room to talk about things that are cheap and unfair.

They still couldn’t kill me and only one survived by a thread, it beats spamming the caster any day of the week and twice on sundays in my book.

Beats spamming the caster but in that vid you were spamming the axe heavy which is currently bugged and has a damage exploit that allows you to do more damage than intended which is higher than either caster.
