I’m getting stuff like randomly popping back into the spot I once was a second ago. Such as jumping down from a ledge into the river water in Backwater into the state I was before jumping off the ledge.
I suspect latency issues but I seem to have latency of less than 100 or so milliseconds before we get deployed.
are you running a radeon card
why? that i am. but how is the videocard related to lagging? I dont have framerate issues fyi.
I’m also getting the network zigzag icon even when my ping times are like low.
radeons run hot if and you need more cooling or increase fan to max speed, what model 5700xt are known for these stutter issues in all games
recommend msi afterburner app to increase fan speed. You may ahve to lower your clock speed as well and fool with it as all video cards are not the same. Silicon lottery? A lot of radeon cards run hot is your case mid small atx large?
its a large ATX- i will fiddle with some of my graphcs settings, maybe they are too high. Ive been changing them more and more lately…maybe that is why.
your stock card is plenty; radeon is known for trying to compete with nvidia due to every company catering to nvidia the programs are meant to be ran on nividia. Sux but thats why I dont buy radeon even though its more powerful.
On Nvidia cards, after much research the only real advantage i’ve seen is for particle or dynamics like particles and smoke…it runs that through its own processor. Radeon doesn’t have that kind of hardware but has got pretty much the brute force VRAM beucase i don’t always play games (but of course when i do i want something good) and at a cost savings. ive always managed to upgrade video cards while reselling the old one.
So i’ve went and changed my Textures down to medium and seem to have solved it so far in one game.
thats a start you prolly cant tell any diff. are you running 1440p?
4K, gaming at 4k is my standard.
im moreof an fps guy. I run 2080 rtx and dont have issues max settings. 1080p 240hz kinda useless at 130 fps
wow, 2080 rtx is really for FX people. Do you do dabble in graphics rendering? I dabble in larger photoshop work but my Radeon Rx400 works best.
