@JimHarbaughWQLVE you’re the man of the house now. That booze is yours by right. I want you to demand that they refill the liquor cabinet and stock the fridge with beer ASAP!

A shot and a beer in between matches keeps you sharp. Keeps you strong. You put a commie in a Steiner Recliner and I’ll ship you out a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue.

So your old enough to drink and still live with your parents?

I got a friend who’s been doing that for the last six years. He has over 25k saved up and is about ready to put down on a house. Don’t knock it, bro.

Amog

25k isn’t much saved for 6 years living with parents.

That’s saving 4K a year. Can easily do that living on your own.

That’s not good for six years plus in this day and age what home is 25k

It’s just a down payment. Which isn’t anything at all in this housing market. Will still have to pay PMI on the loan since it won’t be a 20% down payment.

I make barely 1400 every two weeks. My rent alone is 1k. Please explain to me how I can save 4K on my own without starving myself and living in the dark and cold.

Also 25k+ is a down payment, here where I am that is enough for a decent place. I would have mentioned that but I had hoped you would have comprehended the obvious, I won’t make that mistake again.

With as little as 3% down you can get a mortgage.
I was referring to purchasing a home with 20% down to not pay PMI. Which would be more responsible.

Also, sorry I didn’t know your financial situation.

But the 25k in 6 years equals to $334 a month saved.

In my opinion, that wouldn’t be enough for me to sacrifice my privacy to live with my parents.

I will agree that most people live paycheck to paycheck and are up to their eyeballs in debt. So maybe it be best to live at home with parents until they can be debt free. Sacrifice the little things. Walking around with your c0ck out. Fucking wherever you want when you want. Etc

I don’t get how this happens. As far as i can tell, student loans are the big start to most debts. I simply did like a dozen part-time jobs while i was studying my degree and paid off my tuition fees myself, and i’ve never been in debt. Sure, it made life in uni hell, but after that lil chapter of my life i could just move on and forget about it.

Might actually have to do this tbh

Well since my dad died I’ve had to learn to live on my own for like four years now, money was great while married but divorce wrecks your wallet so it’s been rough this last year. Only reason I have some money saved up rn is because I’m taking a trip in October. But yes, strutting around with your rooster out is very much a good thing, something I hope everyone gets to experience someday.
