Does anyone else wish Illfonic made Slimer an exclusvie skin/monster , like they did with Jungle Hunter 1987?
It just appears if you pre-order you get early access to Slimer as well as an exclusive Proton blaster/pack. IDK, but it doesnt seem like it’s going to be another Jngle Hunter or Tom Savini Jason Skin fiasco where everyone is whinning to get one… too bad. I like those sort of one and done exclusvie deals.
Anyone else motivated to pre-order Ghostbusters based on the rewards?
I feel like people is going to whin for the slimer skin like the jungle hunt as well
As far as I am aware, Silmer is only early access. I think only the proton pack and custom colors are exclusive.

Ignoring Illfonic I’ve always been against exclusives, though to clarify I respect the existence of current exclusives like JH and the like
It’s a good way to make some extra cash. It’s also nice to have something most can’t obtain (whatever it is).
I used to preorder games from GameSpot back in the day and get physical collectors items that were exclusive to those who preordered. Now that most pre-order items are digital you can sell the DLC code on ebay/email and not have to worry about shipping (a profit killer). BTW my JH87 will be sold at somepoint. I will put it up on ebay for $$$.
The last time I made some decent money was when Fallout 4 released. I got an exclusive Nuke-Cola soda with the game. I sold that one soda for 60 bucks, thus making my money back on the game purchase. I still got some bonus items from Castevania games I preoredered back in the past that are worth some money too. One day I will sell them. But I see it as an investment as they slowely raise in price as they get rarer.
I believe the Preorder mentions that Slimer is ‘advanced’ access - meaning that it will still be obtainable later in the game’s life.
They probably don’t want to make the same mistake as they did with P:HG. Lots of folks turned away from P:HG simply because they can’t get the Jungle Hunter.
