Give berserker more perk points

So just a thought. Considering he has slightly More health, and his passive damage is literally an extra ONE damage per swing. Why not give him some more perk points now? I mean considering The stamina perk is actually necessary to even run berserker, (otherwise you have literally no stamina and are just dead on first engagement) it leaves you with a whopping 1 other perk choice. Kinda lame. Doesn’t leave room for real builds

your completely right… i solod a zerk as recon with 150 hp… there needs to be some major dmg trade off for the zerk to get nuked like that. 2 sniper shots and one uzi… wtf illfonic.

yeah atm i’m in the camp that any of the berserker related nerfs need to be reverted or they have to bite the bullet and accept they don’t want melee to be viable at the higher end of play as currently the berserkers playstyle is clearly not what they want the player base to do therefore they should be completly remade to have a stat block like

+Melee Dmg or +ranged damage
3 or 4Stam
1 or 2 Move
2HP
7 gear points
13 or 14 perk points
low max NRG
cause clearly they don’t want a hulking monster so the stats should look like this you could keep gear and perks as is but as far as i’m concerned perks are better than more gear

He needs a bigger gun.

He should be like a tank. Heavy firepower, slow movement/low stamina.

He needs to be doing 3-4 extra damage per hit. Maybe even 5. Gotta figure the extra 15 damage would be very noticeable apposed to an extra 3 damage. And give him a few more perk points. And yikes a LITTLE more base stamina

The thing is, just buff zerk so he feels good to play. Let’s be honest with the changes I’ve asked for it still would not make melee very viable at high levels. But it would Atleast feel better to play as zerker and make blitzing someone 1 on 1 feel a little better

melee can be viable… if you poke them down a little. Its a case by case

zerk can carry heals, bear traps AND wrist launcher lol. He don’t need more perk points

that’s gear not perk points and gear is nowhere near as valueble as perk points is now after most of the perks in the game got buffed

Yes, considering I just did a test with the beserker pred with certain perks to engage in a fight at close range and still felt even if I got a man down it felt the same as if I was a hunter class, even with fearless perk, I don’t see a significant damage, our with the long range perks.

Berserker is simply one of those things that requires a complete rework in order to be viable at all. Key point, viable. Maybe Berserker is that one class that offers a different way of playing, not that it’s any good or even on par with other ways.

If Zerkers are truly going to be supported as a class, at least revert the initial nerfs to their Perk Points and Passives. Even Scout is “fine” where they are. (Even though they’re meant for “Ranged Combat”, they eat through Energy like starving dogs).

every other pred is evened out but if melee was viable and he did 2 damage per swing at LEAST then he’d be evened out but he’s really trash and easy to track

Errrmmm it’s a slightly noticeable difference it doesn’t effect gamplay to much it’s not. A game changer to have more health AT ALL lol more perk points would allow for a sustainable and nice set up otherwise he’s bad even tho he’s a lvl 50 unlock goddammit

Pred just gets nerfed due to filthy casuals that you still wipe even after the patch notes… they need to realize its a skill issue

Balance while totally warped i the FT favour, is actually a challenge to balance. Zerker needs a buff sure, but its gotta be done carefully…

Honestly id rather see a damage buff rather than a health buff… but its more complex than that.

the matches are longer for both sides… you just cant get close vs a FT thats good

Perhaps we are looking at things the reverse way, what perks should work for one but actually help another.
