IDK… People are picketing now and it’s disrupting the economy…
By picketing I mean smashing and burning and stealing everything
Some protests have been shut down on those grounds.
Different states different laws.
Also the protesting in general had nothing to do with the economy, that’s on the virus.
To give a clear example, in the USA if you block a rail line by protest, you can be arrested. In Canada there’s a whole process before you get arrested.
If they destroy a business that’s impacting the economy

Same in most first world countries, that’s my only real point. Americans seem to think they have the best protections when it often isn’t the case.
It was nice to chat about it without it becoming a thing though.

Gift everyone with 87 (87 dutch being in the game for newcomers, yet having the 87 pred behind the preorder wall, may hinder players want to purchase this game).

provide a more epic, Day 1, backing reward to those who stuck it out since day one and ironed out the bugs and such.

No problem. I wasn’t going to waste time writing out another detailed response to what is affectively the same ‘release JH’ thread we’ve seen a hundred times before.
Releasing JH wouldn’t do shit tbh other than pissing people off and people then knowing that to Illfonic exclusive means nothing. If they want to make the newcomers feel better or have an incentive why not then release a cosmetic item or something of the like for anyone that participated during the free trial.
I really hate these topics, it’s annoying and brings nothing but division in the forums. To those that want JH you have the chance to get his helmet in the crates or you can unlock the Elder who is damn near a 1:1 copy of him but with better stats.
I understand and respect your point of view. However, keeping loyal players that have been here since day one happy is just as important as attracting new players, and any that claim they’re huge Pred fans would’ve preordered for the 87 skin already, so I think releasing him to everyone will have more negative effects than positive ones. There are other ways to attract new players.
It’ll feel like Illfonic are saying “well, we already have your money now so we don’t care about you anymore.”
I can understand that it’s fruststrating having an exclusive skin locked out for new players, but preorder/ digital deluxe/ console specific exclusives have been common practice for many games for a long time. People just need to let it go and move on. I’m sure Illfonic have plenty of ideas up their sleeves to attract new players.

Real Predator fans don’t care if other people get to enjoy Jungle Hunter. In fact they would encourage it. Just my opinion.
I do get the concept of having an exclusive though and don’t fault any one for wanting to keep it exclusive.

Shit, that’s negative AF. What I mean is this months been kind of a bad one as far as setting an example of how rushed the big patches are going to be. Don’t get me wrong, I’m more interested in them being successful then them struggling but right now it very much looks like struggling.
There is nothing more important then establishing and following a schedule for games in this genre. Not even the quality of your core loop, (looking at you Dbd).
If we are on a four month schedule, that isn’t clear. It could be a five month schedule based on when the new map and mode is set to release. If that’s the case, we’re in trouble. None of the games with a release window that wide made it.
Right now we can’t even be sure we’ll have the option of a paid dlc each month.
There’s things they could be planning, maybe they have a whole set of revamped or new maps and those will be released monthly.
Could be the new mode is just that difficult to polish and this is a one time thing.
I can’t say and that is concerning to me. I know I can’t keep asking people to be to be patient without understanding what the devs are doing, and I can’t expect them to accept, a lack of reason behind that asking.
I really do hope you are right though.
