No, I didn’t. Listen, when my team was still around, we tested everything to a T. The trick to parrying back then was lead with a Heavy right into a light and repeat. Before the bugs started happening a long time ago, this would guarantee a parry at least on the first attack. Since then, it has limited success but is still the only reliable way to consecutively parry unless you’re hit with a stroke of luck or the pred simply doesn’t move after being parried. If he doesn’t move, you can continue to throw lights since the animation will have finished and you can queue up a light again. Guaranteed parry so long as they remain still.
I’ll say it again, if timing was as relevant as it was at launch, this would have never happened. You can count three times in which both of our melee attacks hit at the same time and yet no parry was initiated. Any other situation and it would have parried.
If you didn’t know, heavy attack has a longer animation and as such, a larger parry window. Go ahead and test it if you don’t believe me. While you’re at it, confirm that pred is quieter uncloaked. It’ll surprise you. By throwing a heavy and following up with a light, you maximize your chances of parrying.
This isn’t a user-related issue at this point and does require proper attention
