Created a similar page to this post for the PHG guide.

Bomb Defusal

The goal of defusing the predator bomb is to select 4 random glyphs. The first 3 glyphs will be 1 of 9 possible glyphs. The final glyph will be 1 of 8 possible glyphs, which has a similar yet altered set of shapes.

The 4th and final glyph is located in a sequence of only 8 glyphs, in which the original order has been altered, 4 glyphs have been removed, and 3 alternative glyphs have been added.

Deciding to Capture a Downed Predator

  1. Is the predator in an accessible location?
  2. Are you less than about 3 seconds from the predators body?
  3. Is the predator’s mask unprotected?
  4. Do you have teammates ready to help you disable the downed predator?

If you answered “no” to any of these questions, it is unlikely you will have the time to disable the predator, access the gauntlet, and defuse the bomb, before it explodes.

I usually just blow up with the predator because I don’t want to fight Ai :)

I’m confused lol, if I answer no to question 3, it means it’s out of the mesh. But if yes, then it’s like these 2 asshats who I couldn’t disarm.

Hahahahaha… I feel you man. Specially now that we get only armored units and shit. Me and a couple friends sometimes defuse and still leave on the chopper.

When I run with a premade, that’s always how we always try to win.

We try to wind before calling the chopper, then we wait at the chopper to see if the predator will attempt to fight.

I either leave on chopper or I blow myself up
