I posted this earlier, but its a hell of a read if you want to dive deep into Bear McCreary’s process for doing KOTM’s score. How he reworked the original Godzilla and Mothra theme and added his flair, to creating new themes for Rodan and, of course, Ghidorah, which I think is the most awesome part.

Gypsy Danger? Oh…well, which JJ? 73 or 21? Considering 73 can increase his size at will, and its limitless, I imagine it could just grow bigger than the biggest known Kaiju and wreck it easily. Gypsy is strong, but its only as strong as its pilots, which Jet doesn’t need.

I don’t even understand how Jaegers survived that long. When they were fighting one of the kaiju and it just broke the glass and killed one of the pilots I was like “oh.”
This is why gundams don’t put the pilots in the vulnerable head. Evangelion units are safe in the spine too. Jaegers are walking deathtraps not to mention you have to use a shitty fragile VR treadmill in perfect synchronization to pilot it.
I hope we get a proper piloted Kiryu in the Monsterverse though. Wingard’s mechaG was a waste and ugly.

I think more fans have warmed up to the MV MG as of late. Its and absolute beast, as it should be. Also, possessed by Ghidorah’s consciousness, which makes it even more badass.

Yea literally jaegers seemed slow and clunky and jet jaguar was quick easily stomps a mud hole in thier ass
Could’ve just given us mecha king ghidorah at this point and spared us the lego Decepticon look.
Wasted the whole pilot subplot too and he was piloting from a billion miles away over a wifi connection, was lame.
Feels like he was just thrown in at the end of the movie as a generic boss to 3rd party both of them
Well he was hinted to in the KOTM end credits. APEX was building him on Skull Island for quite some time.
MKG wouldn’t have worked really, since the entire body was vaporized, and the only remaining head seen in the after credits of KOTM was already decomposing. Its far more spooky to have Ghidorah’s consciousness surviving in the bones, wrecking Serizawa’s emo son and taking control of MG, rather than a complete rebuild. It also brought back a physical throwdown not seen since the 70s, so that was a very welcome thing.

GvK was too forced, really wasnt any reason to use mechaG for that movie.

G 1985 and 2019 KOTM. Love em. 1985 was just sooooo fresh at the opening titles. Makes me smile to this day.
