and they have no reason to split
coupled with the fact that predator is not sneeky you can’t just stay near them to watch for an opportunity you will get spot (or they wont do any mistake and you will just wait for nothing)
I’ll take an OP FT any day over a nerfed one that provides no challenge. If I start winning every game then I won’t be entertained any more. I might yell BS when I lose but it’ll make me want to try harder next game. That’s what keeps me coming back, even when I’m lvl 100 and have unlocked everything.
First off. No. You fuck off with that shit. Bloodborne is shit compared to souls lol. I’m just messing ya, I tried getting into blood but idk I didnt enjoy it.
As for the parry, I think it should cost stamina. It is annoying. But I dont really change it up between plasma cannon and melee, I just start dancing around them changing up my timing for swings. But this is only if its only more person, or 2. With 3 or more I usually stay ranged. Idk. It depends on the match.
you can definitely time parries dude that’s what i do with the sword to great success
now is parries still too strong probably it only takes 2 and your dead as a predator but there is still technically a way around now i would like it to have an internal CD like 3seconds then it forces another fireteam member to get the parry to prevent solo Supports but just trying to make a point here
i should also say with bear traps it’s possible to negate reinforce entirely no one expects to spawn trapped
Dude thats how I feel about souls so I get it. In the war between Bloodborne vs.Dark Souls we can comet together and say: “Path of Exile dissapoints us both!”
Demon souls was really good though. Like atmosphere and whatnot it’s probably the best. There was another game too that is a souls like but I thought it was horrible. For me it’s just I like playing mage in souls, so only really having melee in blood ruined it for me. That’s literally my beef with bloodborne lol.
Take your word for it on the timing thing, I’m still gonna go hand held plasma because I KNOW it works and it just looks cool. Shoot/wristblade/wristblade/shoot its like mix-up. I think we can all agree though, Parry needs a tweak. Something to stop this outright undermining of the big bad Predator’s melee combat. I can’t stop you from shooting your massive automatic(I’m pretty sure hit scan) guns.
it’s worth mentioning i’m pretty sure only the fastest weapons can do this which i think are sword/claw/disc cause they swing at about the same speed as the knife but you gotta deal with shit range or buggy tracking

I think now it’s not unbalance than the previous patch, the game is not that unbalance now (except for reinforcements). Just learn how to play PROPERLY as ft and predator. There are still people who complain about berserker with combi unfortunatly…
That’s true. 90% of the time I slaughter fireteam. But when I get 4 trainned ft members If I manage to kill only one its too much.
The fact they can protect each other and still bring back the dead makes it impossible for a pred to come out victorious.
But group of very good ft players are hard to find.
There are still people not aware that we can break wooden boxes to get some ammo… so yeah people complains a lot before properly knowing the game unfortunately.
I wouldnt say impossible. you have to have skill, bit of luck, mistakes to be made. and dont let them get that reinforcment at all costs.
it should be almost impossible to beat a perfect team imo.
If you get 1 trophy and live, thats fine with me. Im not interested in team-wipe every game.
I’d in general like to see the FT have to finish the mission even if they kill the Predator but what would be interesting is if they escalate the difficulty of the AI to some degree.
I’m okay with the concept of reinforcements on a basic level but it needs to NOT punish the Predator for doing well as it does now. That is, if one person races off to the radio after one teammate is down and the other two stay on mission and get killed, they shouldn’t be insta-respawned with the first guy. It should work on separate timers and you have to stay by the radio where the Predator can target you for a lot longer.
As it is, IF the Pred does have target acquisition off cooldown he can find where they are but it’s hit or miss if he can make it there in time.
honestly i think all they would have to do is make a chopper come in to drop of the reinforcements not only would this take longer but pred could choose to destroy the chopper before it drops them off denying the reinforce or he could attempt to kill off the people defending the LZ
or if he is a sadistic honorable chad he could just let it happen knowing there doing that so he preps there previous obj point for the next fight
-so you must pray that for mistake (it wont happen if it’s a 4 stack on discord/ts/…)
-you must know every reinforcement place of every map and traps them (so you must take beartrap) at the beginning of the game
-it is almost impossible to beat a good fire team .Well it’s kinda sad in a 1v4 , the lonely player is suposed to be the power role) i understand you why you think 1 kill is already a huge victory
