Predator still can not beat FT players who just lay on each other and stay in small spaces. He has no way to break them up. Especially in the fishing village. And what makes them unbeatable? Reinforcements. Reinforcements make Predator lose the game of attrition against top Fire Teams. Bad Fire Teams need reinforcements. Good teams do not. Played since launch.
good FT's still unbeatable
I’m still pretty new so I won’t claim to know better if you’re right or wrong, but I think the game would benefit from some incentive to split up to a degree. Perhaps some objectives require simultaneous interactions at different spots within a village or something. Just 2 so the team can stay in pairs and aren’t completely screwed.
They would have to make missions more priority because the FT in this state of the game, technically don’t need to finish missions to finish the match. They can wait it or or just straight up hunt the predator. And probably would have to call for a buff for FT. And if there is no priority in missions still but buff the FT then split up on objectives, I can only see FT reverting back to overpowering the predator. But hey, if done right I like the idea.
I’ll be real I just lost a 3 v 1 to a fire team hiding in one of those computer rooms on this map. ITs partially my own fault I was using a weapon I don’t normally use. It was also the fact that they reduced my HP within a matter of frames NOT SECONDS. They played to their advantage: overlapping fields of fire. They played it so well that I couldn’t even down one before they popped my second wind. They didn’t even parry, further proving that mechanic is at is core not just unfair, but mechanically broken, and potentially unnecessary. Not feeling the hype of picking the predator anymore. Afraid to melee because I’ll just get interrupted for free. Afraid to shoot or throw things because I’ll just reveal myself. Can’t stealth because there is no element of mystery or surprise, because its a competitive VIDEO GAME not a movie. Also, your predator clicks louder when close to players. To top it off I’ll wait ten minutes for a game, that might not even go through because the fire team won’t drop in. I’ll sit in an empty game with four slots that just say: “>>>WAITING!”
It sounds to me like you just need practice. If they hide in a building like that, wait till they come out. As for the parry, you just have to change up the timing of your swings and amount of swings. Pretend your playing dark souls. It helps.
I still get parried but it doesn’t completely fuck me a lot of the times. Occasionally it will but it’s pretty rare.
I would tell you to keep changing your angle and shoot charged shots with cannon, but, someone who’s played long enough will know all the spots they can get shot from.
The Predator has a slam that you can use when they are hold up in a building. It’s to prevent that. But a good team doesn’t stay that close together. They are constantly scurrying around like rats. And the weapons have such weird mechanics required. Like shooting the net gun. You have to stay still for a second. Which is a death sentence. Etc. The game doesn’t give you enough time to hunt. So you have to rush in. Then Fire Teams keep saying Predator players are bad cause they jump in to melee surrounded. But you have to because the game won’t let you pick apart your prey. It want’s to be an action game.
They can be beaten you just dont know how
According to your logic then. The game is perfectly balanced as is. No need for updates. We can just go from here and release new content. No balance updates ever needed again…
if they are perfectly coordinated they deserve to win. thats just good skill and gameplay.
completely agree
you cannot win every time
i had some of best games even if i lost

guys go to her profile you can block her and you never see anything she says.
Very good FTs are hard to take down but I still don’t think they’re really the reason why. If anything the predator’s number 1 enemy are all the bugs and general clunkyness/unpolished mechanics. I can’t tell you how many times things were going my way against a good FT until UH OH STAMINA BUG IN THE MIDDLE OF COMBAT.
I can assure you the Slam would not have worked in the situation I was in. I appreciate you trying to help though.

YEAH THAT IS a massive problem for predator
So to sum up your complaint “Good players win. Fix this.”
Got ya.
FT who are good are extremely inclined to be arrogant to the point they will comit a lot of mistake really. playing distance with them is so far the best option also prepared a road of retreat for heal if need with bear traps it stuck them a lot and give you plenty of time to take them one by one if they try to come after you’r ass alone
Git Gud
For real if you think preds are still underpowered you have a prob.
This was before the buff btw.
BloodBorne > Darksouls-Lol
Timing your swings practically doesn’t work. The timing of the FT parry is too lenient. You actually have to back off and use a ranged weapon. The parry has no cost, is fast as the regular melee because its the same animation with no recovery, hence spam-able. There is now nothing stopping them from playing the game, They don’t have to time anything. I know how to get around parry its just a really lame situation that leaves you open. Sometimes it works though, hand held plasma caster works wonders on overzealous knife users. I gad a bad game because I tried to make the bow work the same way, Im sure it does in capable hands, just not in mine.
