GreenLand 2020

Anyone catch this film?
I’m watching it, it seems pretty interesting. Realism always wins me over and it involves an extinction event asteroid impact where it collides with earth.

There is a scene that i’m seeing thats pretty disturbing.

You know those Provincial Alerts you get on your phone? Or i guess if you in another country, those Emergency Messages from Your Government in regards to shit, i dont know, I usually get them for Amber Alerts when a kid goes missing or when there might be a problem with your Nuclear Facility (god forbid).
The main character gets an unexpected electronic message from his government at random, directed to him and his name!
Aint that fucking wierd and informs him he has been selected …for an emergency shelter.

It was a pretty bad apocalypse movie. The main character got all those people killed just because he didnt know if his wife was on the plane or not. Then there was the entire pointless kidnapping of the kid, who was like 10 acting like he was 6. Then after that the main character slayed yet another human being over his bracelet that he already forfieted his chance to use.
Worst of all after they finally get an illegal ride to the bunker they just let them in like they have enough food and supplies for all these people flying there on their own so the whole movie and everyone they left to die was pointless.

Please fog your post, because that kind of gives away some of the plot, ;)

Im already intrigued by the realism of how the events transpire so far, its something i haven’t seen on film before or on tv for that matter.

apocalypse movie not quite yet, more like one of those disaster movies but leaning towards suspence and realtime events.
This is more along the lines of UFO (2018)

Names not coming to me right now but there’s an old movie where a guy picks up a ringing pay phone and is told that nukes from the USSR are inbound and the world will end in about 30 minutes.
