Grenade Launcher Strategy Question May 9th

As someone who is looking to level up the grenade launcher to completely having all level 10 weapons. What are your thoughts on how to use the grenade launcher after they changed it?

don’t

seriously though uh just use it as before just remember you ahve to bounce grenades so generally you want to aim at the floor unless your good at simple geometry
against the predator only use it if he is aiming at you on a roof or on the ground somewhere

yeah, this is not the most easiest weapon to use. Thats why its special…like autism.

The getting rid of impact grenades and having timed only was stupid. Has anyone (game or IRL) ever deliberately used Timed Grenades in a launcher when you had literally any other option? Impact? Duh. Proximity? Sure. Timed? Too easy to dodge, completely unreliable especially against a Predator, lol.

SHouldn’t there be an option for impact grenades rather than timed? Or is there no such thing?

It use to have an option for impact grenades but the last update they removed it, and they lowered the timer on timed explosives.

OK well, i knew the trial version felt a little better to use. Thats probably why they stink in the final release. We definitely need this back in, if not allow for it to be switchable.

while i definitely agree that right now the grenade launcher is too weak before we had the issue of when it’s shot at the predator it became impossible for the predator to aim it’s already alot harder for pred to aim his weapons most ranged predators agree cause there isn’t any hitscan on predator weapons for some reason and very little aim assist on console controllers
i think honestly it should be given a proximity setting cause then you can sort of have impact with a slight delay but they dont bounce making it easier to aim most of the time and increase it’s dmg slightly
which is why impact was removed if we went back to it even if the GL did less dmg it would encourage more of the zerker combi we have now just cause they would get frustrated with the GL
