I’m curious how many games you’re playing where pred has the luxury of running around blowing up medkits ahead of time. Seconds matter when it takes fireteam 5 minutes to complete objectives uncontested.
Do go for ammo crates though because they’re outside & dont require walking inside castering twice before getting bodyblocked near a doorway.
Oh yeah if you hold the key which throws them. The nades have like maybe a 4 second cook timer but the game auto throws them after that and it explodes 1 full second after leaving your hands while full cooked. Enough to no give you and damage
To me hand grenades are useless. I never equip them. They have the accuracy of a blind pigeon and they deal friendly fire damage. I hate it when some dork uses them in my team.
Same goes for the absurd grenade launcher, but for nostalgia of the original movie I have a love/hate relationship with it.
Hammerhead’s grenade launcher is much more useful, but the reload is super slow. You have one shot and then run.
I almost always use the scout. It is the best class to kill predators. I’ve been able to run to the other side of the map. See the pred running towards me, shoot at it and when it is close, run by him to the other side. Repeat and Repeat until they rage quit or I get them on second wind. So easy to catch them once they are in second wind too. lol
If you could cook the grenades, I’d use em. But as of now the pred can EASILY jump away and not receive any sort of damage. They do a good amount of damage which is nice, but they’re pretty much useless cause of their long fuse.

There’s no friendly fire aside from barrels or some post-death explosion bug. You get a grenade indicator on your screen but it doesn’t do anything.
Otherwise I would grief all recons at spawn xd

Perfect timing! I just finished a match, last man standing as Dutch, I get 3 direct Frag Grenade hits and downed Predator solo!

If anything frags needs to go off quicker
Frag grenades have a 3-5sec fuze IRL and as such in-game. If you cook them for a couple seconds you’ll be more likely to hit Predator.
Yes but you can also shorten the fuse on real frags lol
Frags if done right are op. If you hold it they auto throw right before they explode. You can throw one right up at a Pred on the roof.
