GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition

Ah shit, here we go again

I’m beyond happy. Been obsessed with the 80s culture and aesthetic since being absorbed with Vice City so long ago, and the game looks absolutely gorgeous. They all do, honestly. And with the new controls, unffff…take my money, please.

I honestly thought they would’ve done the bare minimum but I’m so glad I was wrong about that. They’ve really done a lot for what is just a remaster. Now, let’s just hope we can keep the radio stations in tact.

Cool. I never finished San Andreas or Vice City. Good excuse to replay them.

Tough titty , you will get a rehash of the oldies and a third generation of gta 5 first, I think it was reported that there will be a gta 6 trailer in the next few months

Wrong answer. Bully 2 is the only acceptable answer. Now get outta here!

They’ve been saying that for years lol.

My guess would be they were holding out for the next gen consoles?

We’ll never know when it comes to Rockstar. They’re more silent than Illfonic.

But they 100% have results from their method , even if a game of theirs is broken, its more enjoyable

That’s true for the single player stuff. Not so much the online modes of their games. It’s weird seeing such a contrast from their fantastic single player experiences to their abysmal online ones.

You may be right , I have only ever really played rdro and a bit of gta 5 online , but for the most part I didn’t have too many issues at the time

This is where I gotta defend Rockstar and how they handle their online components. Yeah, it gets criticized a lot, but, compared to Illfonic? They’re absolutely brilliant. RDO and GTAO get new content several times a month, usually in the form of game modes, clothing, cars, horses, weapons, etc. The customization for everything is extremely layered. Illfonic wishes they were on Rockstar’s level.

Real question is did they renew the licenses for songs? I payed a damn hard earned $15 for the trilogy already available, only to find all the best songs gone from VC and SA. Unforgivable.

How is that unforgivable? If the licensing companies don’t want their music in the game, that’s not Rockstar’s fault.

Why would a licensing company not want their song in a product?

Rockstar didn’t renew contracts to save a few thou…

There’s actually several cases of artists and their companies asking rockstar to remove their songs. People need to stop blaming the devs for every little stupid thing; sometimes, sometimes, it’s not their fault.

You mean like how Red Dead Online managed to get 2 content updates in the span of a year? Both of which severely lacking in substantial content and were utter shit? 25 gold bars just to unlock the ability to shoot an animal in the head 20 times and stick a needle up it’s ass isn’t exactly exciting gameplay. Or how they’ll patch a money glitch within a day but left the animal spawns broken for 6 months? I wouldn’t exactly call the weekly updates that add one jacket a time a content update. Might as well praise hunting grounds monthly mask updates at that point. A solid turd is better than diarrhea but they’re still just shit at the end of the day 🤷‍♂️
