So I’ve been playing pred for awhile ever since I hit 44. I’ve noticed that he is considerably weaker than the fire team. While I’ll admit I have a lot of learning to do as the predator, but some things need to be changed or fixed with him.
#1- He/She needs to have a quieter footsteps. I’m not suggesting take out the sound all together, just reducing it, or reducing the area in which it can be heard.
#2- Cloaking HAS to be stealthier. I get that they’re trying to make this game fun for everyone and don’t want to favor one side over the other. That said, I have been well out of view and completely still while using the bow, and was still spotted from a considerable distance. The predators in the movie were damn near invisible, while they shouldn’t make it 100% undetectable, they need to make it stealthier while at the same time, making it cost more energy per second or a higher activation cost.
#3- The wrist bomb needs to be harder to disarm. I’ve noticed that it’s ENTIRELY too easy to disarm the bomb. Again, I’m not saying make it impossible, but make it harder by throwing curveballs. After all it’s an advanced alien piece of tech that would take more than 5 seconds to disarm. This comes from my experience as a fire team support specialist. It would make it more interesting to figure out and feel more satisfying to solve. Maybe use random symbols and start them in a random spot on a list in which they’d use extremely similar symbols with a correct symbol in the list. Or, add more symbols to the bomb to extend the disarm time.
These are all suggestions and I’d like to hear from people of this forum on their thoughts and opinions. I LOVE playing as both pred and fire team. I’m not looking to argue over bias, but I’d like to hear your OBJECTIVE or UNBIASED opinions. Thanks and have a great quarantine!! Looking forward to hunting some of you soon! 😉
