I have mixed feelings about the movie

While I love good splatter films

Halloween wasn’t originally a splatter film

Michael Meyers is becoming more like Jason Voorhees

Yeah. I’m going to hold my judgement on it until I watch it, as trailers on occasion can be misleading.

Regardless of what they do, I just hope to god they use practical effects. I will always have more respect for filmmakers that use practical over CGI (with obvious exceptions where practical is impossible due to ya know, physics etc).
