I have had a couple of questionable games recently but one stands out the most, I was watching in a tree just outside of a compound on derailed. The fireteam were in a building and they just walked out and started firing in my direction exactly where I was? I moved round the tree and still shots were hitting my cover, then when they got to the warehouses I was on the roof and they must have had grenade launchers, but they were hitting directly beneath me, I would suspect they could maybe hear me moving? But no matter if I took one step or two the grenades were hitting directly at my feet? I canāt see how they could pinpoint where I was exactly with every shot? Even uncloaked (so no clicking) and even as I stood in the same spot? It was as if I was stepping on landmines. I donāt record gameplay and I didnāt know about the report players function but something was definitely off, Iām just curious if anybody else has came up against this? All ps4 players

Had a couple of PS4 guys hide inside some rocks on the edge of Overgrowth - they could shoot out of it but I couldnāt see them or hit them. Think they were just exploiting a glitch in the map rather than hacking. In the end I managed to sit pretty close to them without them being able to see me and watch my XP accelerate up (which was the only way I knew I was right next tot them).
Iāve seen this on backwater didnāt know you could do it in overgrowth too š
You can thank P-wille-2000 for everyone knowing how to pull these off. This is why I hate youtubers they post ohhh look at me im so cool im under the map im so cool everyone this is how you do it. I think the ones on the video showing everyone how to get under the map should be banned from the game
They very well could have been a good team, but hitting shots spot on through a solid roof that breaks their line of site? Every shot was directly beneath me. Just found it strange
I have heard of the undermap exploit but have never encountered it yet, with wait times being so long for me I donāt manage to get many games in a night, Iāve never been part of a fireteam thatās done it either. But I heard about it from browsing these forums the last couple of months
It was mad. I took down the other 2 FT relatively quickly (primarily because these other two had abandoned them). These guys then proceeded to abandon the mission with around 9 minutes to go, and just sit inside these rocks. Every time I got close theyād start to get hits on me, so I thought fuck it - I managed to position myself in a place where they didnāt appear to be able to see me, and sat out the rest of the game there watching the XP shoot up (which I assume was due to my proximity to them). About 30 seconds from the end they venture out, but I unfortunately was unable to get them down. Obviously it counted as a loss for them so Iāve no idea what they thought they were accomplishing.

This is a tactic, you estimate really easily where the pred is from underneath the roof by listening to footsteps and then what you do is cook a grenade and throw it at the spot underneath the roof you think he is crouching. The grenade explodes at the perfect point. Itās the same tactic as pred slamming the roof.
even with hacks ps4 players at there best will be as good as the worst PC player

Without seeing the footage Iād have to say it sounds like you were just up against a very on point team.
You didnāt mention whether you were cloaked while you were in the tree. If you were itās possible they figured out your position from your clicking etc. With a decent headset thatās surprisingly easy to do as Fireteam.
As for the roof grenades, Iāve experienced this from the other side on Derailed. The Predator leaves a pretty noticeable shadow on at least one (perhaps all) of the warehouses if youāre looking at it from underneath. Also if you hadnāt healed after they were chipping away at you, your blood is very clearly visible from within the warehouse.

You can see the shadow on the warehouse roof? I was cloaked in the tree. Being able to pinpoint someone on the other side of a solid object that breaks their line of site has to be one of the most retarded things in this game, how the hell can that be a thing? Iām playing this less and less by the day
Iāve had that, they had medikits and snipers and stayed in a close group on one of the warehouse roofs. No doing objectives just camping š I got in close as the timer was running down but I just leaped in and set off the bomb. Lost any notion to play
