Headset sound for ps5

Only half of the sound effects are included when using a headset on ps5, can’t hear most gun fire or predator noises

Try disabling 3d sound in the settings

This is an audio glitch. Like @BadBlood said disable 3d audio on the PS5 and it should fix it.

You’ll still get it sometimes but not nearly as often

Thanks for the advice. Even with the 3d turned off I’m still getting it to the point it’s making the game pretty unplayable

Restart the console after. See if it helps. It doesn’t always but it’s the best fix we have right now

That helps to an extent but it’s definitely this game that is causing the audio to be removed! The game isn’t loading properly

Honestly the first time It did nothing. Then I turned it on and off again and restarted the console and I only ever get it on excavation now.

That’s the only map I get it on mainly! Backwater aswell sometimes

This is still occurring to me as well on PS5 after the recent update.

I think its something to do with the ps5 and not on illfonics end because i noticed this happens to me on other games as well
