HELP ME tips tricks OWLF Spotter

just looking for a genaral guide/tips tricks strengths and weaknesses of a OWLF spotter

To play or kill?
Cause no ft class has that much of a difference to them same as pred.

This game doesnt really have variety.

both i guess im noob

Well, for one not to use spotter for him since he has the gear and perk points for a damage sniper build.

sorry not quite sure what the first half of that sentence means

I mean spotters just fucking annoying no matter who it’s on.

I dont really like the owlf class tho.

Since he has the perk points and gear points spotter is a waste of a special perk for him. He is more suited for a dps sniper build than a spotter

It depends on what you’re going for tbh.
Rushing the mission?
Killing And hunting the pred?

Are you solo?
In a group?

Stuff like that.

Lol. Im a god spotter. I once had a pred spotter for 2 mins straight.

It’s really not that hard with the ridiculous spotting times.

But I trained myself not to spot so I could snipe them.
Also, i usually get fkd over by the game and tag branches even tho I’m right on him.

all of it man i know nothing

so i can use spotter as a subclass for any class ?

The best Sniper build from my exp is.

Recon > Sniper spec (Deals more dmg to spotted targets)

Bane/Spotting perk/other 3 points you can spent on whatever, I went with DR against AI.

OWLF isn’t as good as Recon 'cause OWLF Operative has 8 points to spend and his spotting durations are lesser than Recon’s.

thanks for the info guys. keep it comming

No spotter is only on a few classes. I think only 2.

If you’re by yourself I’d say just use bane with meta weapons.

But idk.

Hopefully these guys can give you some stuff to use on here.
I have an easier time explaining through voice chat.

all good every bit helps

Are you on PC or PSN?

It would be my absolute pleasure to teach you everything that I know about this game.

PSN: Khihendron.

If you are on PSN, these guys I’ve tagged are invaluable to know, and excellent players, as well.

I’ve found that the most effective build for OWLF (IMHO) is to run Sniper.

So long as you’re putting bullets on a spotted target, you will get a 15% damage bonus.

The natural strengths of the OWLF Operative are his tankiness and his ability to not appear as brightly on thermal as the other classes.

In a proper squad with a Field Medic, you could run Quick Release (my favorite perk) and Bane.

If you would rather sacrifice damage for the ability to absorb more damage (as I often do), then run Thick Skin and OWLF. I’ve found the latter allows me play more aggressively because I don’t have to keep an eye on my health as much.

Plus, if you have that FM, you have somewhere around a 30-40% damage reduction. Pair that with the ability to put a spotted Predator into Second Wind with a good SMG, I think that is the role he can best play on a FT.

The biggest mistake a Predator can make, in that situation, is rushing a OWLF that knows how to parry.
